Simone was tasked with a few others in setting up an art show. All the students were allowed to enter some piece of art. She was thrilled to have a school that didn't just focus on athletics. No matter how much she loved Tennis, she had other passions as well. She held up a framed piece and was about to put it on the wall but she needed it higher. A familiar pair of hands took it from her following her direction."Thank you Coach." She smiled.
"Thank you Coach." She looked seeing some of the football players making kissing faces.
"Can I give your players detention?" Simone looked at her boyfriend.
"Go for it."
"Aw, come on Coach! That cuts in practice." Matthew complained.
"You were late to my class anyway." Simone called him out.
"Shhhh, Lower your voice. Didn't I tell you that you were my favorite teacher?" Matthew came throwing an arm around Simone. Jordan was quick to smack it away.
"Oooh, Coach tryna tussle." Matthew grinned eyeing his coach.
"Please don't make me bench you." Jordan luckily had a serious but playful relationship with his players. They annoyed his life but they were passionate about the game and took the sport seriously.
"Bench me? For talking to your girlfriend. Now Coach.. jealously is a ugly trait." He shook his head disappointed.
"Anyway, you were late so that is detention. Tomorrow afternoon, bring homework." Simone wasn't about to play with these kids.
"Coach, help me out. You said we can't miss practice." His wide receiver pleaded.
"Sort that out with you and your favorite teacher." Jordan was not about to get in the middle of the chaos.
Simone handed Jordan another framed piece to hang up. It took everything in her not to make inappropriate commentary about how good her man looked today. They were doing well with keeping things on the down low that they haven't even shared the news with Spencer and Olivia yet.
"So, Mr. Lawson asked me on a date." She spoke.
"Did you tell him no." Jordan asked already annoyed about it.
"No." Simone smirked seeing the irritation on his face.
Jordan sucked his teeth staring at her. Taylor Lawson was very much a younger Morris Chestnut doppelganger. Simone had turned him down but Jordan didn't know that. She could tell he was annoyed when he kept putting up the art instead of keeping up with the conversation.
"Nobody can know anything remember?" she looked around before whispering at him.
"Doesn't mean go out with some other guy."
"Are you upset? Wanna talk about it?" She fluttered her lashes.
"Get away from me before I give you detention." Jordan flirted.
"Oooh, spicy. What kind of detention are we talking? Is it... stand in a corner and face the wall... do I have to write on a white board that I won't ever betray your trust...Oooh do you have a spanking kink?" She gasped.
"Now I feel like I should actually give you detention." Jordan cut his eyes at her.
Simone winked walking away to help another teacher. She finished up an hour later stopping for a quick department meeting. She texted Jordan an address and told him not to look it up but to meet her there at six. Simone went home and meal prepped for the rest of the week before taking a shower and getting ready.
