Simone's head was throbbing. She was never allowing Keisha and Liv to throw her a early bachelorette party ever again. She laid against her island shutting her eyes. There was no way that the school was going to see her anytime soon. She heard glass and looked up seeing the tray of advil and water. Her eyes barely lifted making out the other person. All she wanted to do was close them again.
"Thank you, whoever you are. You're the greatest!" She mumbled resting her head back on her arms.
"Did you have fun last night?" He leaned against the counter across from her crossing his arms, he was about to entertain her.
"I don't know. There was some guy there and he was really hot but I was like noooo, I am engaged. He wouldn't give up and oh my god..."
"What?" Now he was intrigued.
"I think I slept with him. Oh my god. I am such a bad person." Simone shot up, eyes darting trying to recollect her memories.
Jordan tucked in his mouth trying not to bust out laughing at her realization. He didn't want to ruin the moment but he could see the panic all over her face. He wasn't going to say anything until she kept apologizing and attempting to remove the ring from her finger to hand back to him. Simone kept going on about how she didn't believe in cheating, well... this wasn't how he expected his morning to go.
"Sweetheart, calm down. You didn't cheat."Jordan assured her with a smile.
"Wha- Yes it is, dummy. You don't have to make me feel better."
"I don't think you are quite understanding what happened." Jordan laughed lightly, seeing her stand in front of him arms crossed against her chest. It felt like the longest walk and she only went around the damn island.
" I understand just fine , I did something terrible and you should be mad at me. Why aren't you mad at me? This is your one ticket out." She hit his shoulder.
Jordan licked his lips smirking, his poor future wife. She wasn't impressed and looked so confused which made it even funnier. He snorted it, unable to continue the little game and ran to the other room to not laugh in her face. He couldn't help himself, it was an hilarious story.
" Jordannnn. Answer my question." He heard from the kitchen.
"Oh my god... whew." Jordan returned, wiping his face of tears. He exhaled sharply, caressing her cheek.
"I promise that you didn't cheat. Trust me." He continued x
"How can I trust you if you aren't telling me anything?" Simone poked out her lip.
"Awww pookie, come here. It's okay. you had a time last night that you thought you slept with somebody else." He pulled her into his embrace.
"You aren't helping, J." She mumbled into his chest.
"My love, I was the guy you slept with." Jordan finally cleared the air.
"Oh. Good."
"Well Damn, Don't sound so disappointed."
"What happened to loving me drunk or sober?" She questioned.
Jordan locked her in an embrace feeling her lean into him more. She was never drinking dark liquor or mixing anything ever again. She was never trusting Keisha to play bartender ever. Liv had called Jordan to play driver and get Simone home safely. What happened after that was a blur on her end but he remembered it clear as day. He probably should've stopped it but one thing lead to another.
"I think you mean in sickness or in health." Jordan corrected, peering down at her.
He smoothed out the chaos that sat on top of her head, clear indication that she didn't sleep with anything on her hair. It was wild and carefree. A clear reminder of the night before that ran into the morning. Simone scoffed at his correction burying her face in his chest.
