Trigger Warning: Thank you all for enjoying this little story. This chapter takes a dark turn and contains violence so please protect your peace if needed but thanks to the DM that requested Jordan coming across JR's contact photo in Simone's phone.

"Baby, you aren't helping." Simone poured the batter into the pan.
"I am helping. I am kissing the very sexy chef." He kissed her again.
Somehow Jordan ended up at her place for a third night in the row. With a whole spend the night bag and all, he considered it extra quality time. The art show was finally here and she was antsy about it. One thing that got her day started was taking her time to relax herself. They worked out together in the downstairs gym and now they were settled back in her place.
"Will you put some clothes on sir." She glanced at him turning down the heat.
"Stop discriminating because my tiddies aren't as pretty as yours." He wiggled them hearing her laugh at the stupid antic made his soul warm and fuzzy.
Simone's phone started ringing and with her preoccupied, Jordan grabbed it to hand it over but instead stared at the phone seeing "Jesse Raymond ‼️" with a photo of her kissing what he assumed to be him as the contact photo. Simone asked if he could answer it but instead he handed it over storming out of the kitchen.
"What's wr- Jordan... Jordan!" She saw what his attitude was about and she hit decline removing the photo. She was wrapped up in everything else that she didn't think about the photo and how she still had an album to delete.
"Hey, can we talk?" She stood at her door seeing him collect his things.
"You just happen to think it's okay to still have that?" Jordan stopped looking at her.
"It's been his contact photo for so long, I forgot to change it. I'm sorry."
"Yeah, sure."
"Why are you upset? I deleted the photo. I am sure you still talk to your ex." She hit decline on Jesse's call again.
"Actually, I don't. I blocked her number when we broke up." Jordan answered.
"Okay.... Well Jesse and I are still friends. He and I didn't work out but I still consider him one of my best friends." She added.
"Ah, so friends to lovers trope is your thing." Jordan nodded.
"Excuse me? You don't get to be mad here Jordan. It's a damn photo of my past. We both wanted honesty and I am giving you that."
Simone's ring system chimed that someone was at her door. She didn't care about who it was at the moment. She wasn't expecting company but it might've been some packages. She just wanted to talk to Jordan right now.
"Are you going to get that? It's your place." Jordan's voice showed his irritation.
"No, they'll leave. I am not worried about it." She grabbed his hands. Jordan looked between their hands and her. Her fingers played with his hands as the door continued to ring.
"You have nothing to worry about Jordan. My Lock Screen is us, my Home Screen is you sleeping. Jesse is great and honestly I think you would two would get along. You have sports and me in common." She snaked her arms around him.
"You think you are funny huh?" He cocked a brow.
"Hilarious actually. Can you please get my door while I try not to burn down my kitchen." She poked out her lip.
"Fine...you don't own a fire extinguisher anyway." He pecked her lips.
"So can we forgive and forget?" She kissed his bare chest.
