21 - Mommy's Gift

Today is the twins' third birthday. Narito kami sa bahay nina mommy. We planned only a small party. Ako, si Abby, parents ko, si Ryler, Bea and her mother, Jane. She was healed a few years ago, bago pa ako nanganak. Naging close naman kasi ang mga anak ko kay Bea dahil siya lang naman ang kalaro nilang dalawa. Jane and I became quite close too, siya talaga ang tumulong sa 'kin whenever I was confused about my pregnancy.

I made the twins wear matching red clothes- pulang lolita-styled dress kay Blair, at pulang suit and tie kay Beau. Abby did Blaire's hair into spacebuns, on the other hand, Beau's hair was only combed. Ang ganda naman kasi ng buhok nila, eh. Kahit hindi na susuklayin ay maganda pa rin.

"Mommy where are we going?" sabay nilang tanong.

I was fixing their shoes so I looked up to them, "That's a secret!" Sabay silang dalawang napa-'aww' dahil sa sinabi ko. Such cuties.

Sunod, ako naman ang bumihis. I wore a simple white turtle neck ay pinaresan ko iyon ng beige colored trousers and a beige cardigain. For my shoes, I wore a pair of Hermes sandals, and for my bag, I chose a black Balenciaga shoulderbag.

"Let's go!" Tawag ko sa kambal.

Nauna na roon sina Abby at Ryler since tumulong sila doon sa pagdedecorate ng event room sa bahay nina mom. I was left here sa unit para mag-prepare sa kambal.

"Kuya Beau is so handsome," turo-turo ni Blaire kay Beau habang ine-escort kami ng bodyguard ko papalabas. This is usually how we get out of the building. Nagpapanggap kami ni Gerome- one of my bodyguards na malapit lang sa edad ko- na magkasama kaming lumabas sa unit ko.

We were pretending to be a family. I dyed my hair brown and straightened it na din kasi a few weeks after I left the Philippines, para sana 'yun sa music video ko, but due to the circumstances, hindi natuloy and I decided to just keep dying my hair brown. Nakakatulong din naman kasi sa 'kin para hindi ako makilala ng mga tao. Since the public never knew that I dyed my hair nor do they know na straight na yung buhok ko, it wasn't really kulot naman noon, eh. Wavy lang.

I thanked Gerome noong nakapasok na kami sa sasakyan, he answered, "Wala lang 'yun, ma'am. Kulang pa nga po 'to aa tulong na binigay sa 'kin ng pamilya niyo, eh."

At least, I've got people I can trust by my side at times like this.

Everyone at the house surprised the twins. The room was decorated according to the twins' taste. May mga designs ng My Little Pony 'tsaka Transformers sa loob. The four-layer cake was divided into two, the right side had a MLP design, and the left, a Transformers.

Everyone was having fun, the twins were enjoying the party. Parang kailan lang, buntis pa ako sa kanila, ngayon eto at malalaki na sila. It teared me up a bit. If only Blaze were here to see how beautiful his children are.

"They grow up so fast," rinig kong sabi ni Ryler na lumapit sa akin.

I nodded, "Indeed they do. It's scary how they're already this big," I chuckled.

Ryler had a warm look on his face. Nakatingin lang siya sa kambal habang nakangiti ng malapad. Abbigail was there with them, dancing to the theme song of My Little Pony. Tumawa si Ryler nang pinahiran ni Blaire si Beau ng frosting. Beau laughed as well, he didn't even get back at Blaire. Ang bait ni kuya, ah.

A few hours later, natapos na sa wakas ang party. Blaire and Beau are busy opening their gifts from everyone, Bea was helping them too.

"Oh, look kuya, this is so cool!" Blaire pushed Beau to her side when she found a big My Little Pony toy set inside her gift box.

Beau looked at it and smiled, "Pretty," he said. Tinignan niya ng maigi ang box bago ilipat ang tingun kay Blaire, "From who?" tanong niya.

Kumibit balikat si Blaire at tumingin din ng maigi sa box. She pushed the box to ate Selena, "Tita... from you?" she asked. Umiling naman si ate kaya hinila naman ulit ni Blaire ang box papunta sa kay Daddy.
