06 - I'm Into You

I took a deep breath and was about to answer his question, but then I hesitated. Yung ibang mga kaibigan ko ay naka-abang din sasasabihin ko. It feels like I'm betraying them, now that I can't tell them kung sino nga ba ang producer at kung ano yung nangyari noon.

Tumakbo palapit sa akin si Abby at hinawakan niya ang mga kamay ko. "It's okay, Yara. Okay lang kung hindi ko sasabihin sa amin, naiintindihan ka naman namin." she smiled.

Nawala ang lungkot na nadarama ko kanina dahil doon. It made me realize, just because I was betayed by a friend, does not mean that all my other friends will betray me as well. Mayroon pa rin akong mga kaibigang mapagkakatiwalaan.

However, it's scary. I never wanted anyone to know what happened before because I know there's a lot who will use this as something to blackmail me. The only people who know entirely what happened before was me, mom, and my manager-- ate Cassandra. Kahit nga si ate Selena ay hindi alam na nangyari 'dun kasi alam kong magwawala siya.

I never envisioned this to happen. Sinigurado kong kaming tatlo lamang yung nakaalam sa nangyari noon at wala nang iba. If there was one thing I regret doing, was letting the producer get away. Pero there's zero to minimal chances na magkita nga yung dalawa.

So, it's either she heard us talking about it, or she has contacted with the producer. The latter is quite impossible, though. Walang ni isa sa aming mga kasama sa trabaho noon ang nakaalam sa nangyari, the only people who knew what happened that were working there was me and the producer. Ate Sandy was still a student around that time. So, if she heard it from the producer, aba, syempre may communication talagang nagaganap in between the both of them.

"It's fine, babes. He won't bother you..." the smile on Felicia's face did not falter, it only grew more. "...yet." she added.

Nagawa niya pang mag-wink sa akin habang nagsimula siyang lumapit sa akin. I gritted my teeth. Just how much does she know?!

"Bitawan mo nga ako!" napalingon ako kina Kriz nang sumigaw siya.

There was a man beside her na hinahawakan yung kanang balikat niya, para bang pinipigilan siyang umalis sa pwesto. On his other hand, hawak-hawak niya naman si Giessl na namumula na ang mata sa kagustugan sigurong umiyak.

Nagulat na lang kami nang biglang lumapit sa lalake si Eros at inalis ang kamay nito sa kakahawak kay Giessl. "Bakit nandito ka?" he asked.

Kinamot ng lalake yung batok niya, he gave an apologetic smile to Eros. "Pinatawag ka kasi ni dad, para daw sa isang kaso ng kasama niya sa trabaho," he said.

Nagtataka akong nakatingin sa kanilang dalawa. It seemed like they were on their very own world.

Eros was a bit shorter than the man, but he's got a bigger built. Kung tignan silang dalawa ay mapapansin na marami silang similarities sa mukha at katawan. But their personalities seem different.

Eros sighed. "Ilang ulit pa ba, Agapios? Sabi ko naman sa 'yo, 'di ba? Na wala akong balak tulungan yung lalakeng iyon!" he half-shouted, not loud enough to take the people's attention, but not quiet enough for us to not hear it.

"Look, I know you hate dad-- I do as well. Pero, Eros... he said he would go for your mom if you wont help him. You know I can't stop him if it's about her," nagmamakaawang tumingin yung lalake sa kanya. Judging from how they treat each other, it seems like they have a complicated relationship.
