Marigold's POV
I decided to go straight to Harry's after lunch with Jacob. Daisy was way past due for a nap and there's no point in going home just to wake her up in an hour to leave again.
Daisy was already fast asleep in her car seat by the time I parked in Harry's driveway. Harry must have been waiting for us to pull up because he was outside almost as soon as I put the car in park.
"Hey baby." He cooed, wrapping his arms around my torso. "She asleep?" He asks, nodding his head towards the car. I nodded with a sigh.
"Jacob was a little late to lunch so she was super late for a nap." I opened the back door, Harry stopped me before I could climb into the car to unbuckle her.
"I've got her, go ahead and go inside." He smiled, I didn't fight him on it. I know how much he loves taking care of Daisy. I slipped my shoes off once I was inside the house, Harry followed shortly after with Daisy still sound asleep in his arms.
"I'm gonna put her in the guest room.." He closed the front door with his foot, kissing my forehead softly before disappearing down the halls.
I hummed, walking towards the kitchen to get some water. I stopped and smiled at the fridge when I saw the drawing that Daisy had made for him the other day was hung proudly onto the fridge with a magnet. My fingers grazed over the paper softly. Harry kept the picture and hung it up on his fridge. God I love him.
I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge and made my way to the guest room. Harry was tucking Daisy into the new toddler bed that was pushed against the wall. My eyes widened when I saw that he had basically cleared out the guest room and made it entirely for Daisy.
The queen sized bed was no longer there, instead there was a large fluffy rug in the shape of a daisy spread across the floor, there was a small bookshelf with books and even a basket with stuffed animals in it. The dresser had a small basket with diapers and a little white noise machine.
My face must've shown my surprise because Harry chuckled, grabbing my hands and dragging me away from the room, closing the door behind him.
"Harry, you said you got her a bed, not a room." I scolded him.
Harry pulled me along towards the living room, tugging on my hand to lay down on top of him. He hummed happily with me cuddled up against him with his arms wrapped tightly around my body. Harry never complained when I laid on top of him, but I hated the thought of me crushing him and him suffering through it.
"I'm serious Harry- you turned your guest room into a nursery." I mumbled.
Harry's chest vibrated against my head as he continued to laugh at my poutiness. My fingers dug into his sides, trying to tickle him. He threw his head back and brought a hand to cup his mouth to muffle his laughter. He wiggled underneath me causing me to laugh as he tried to escape the torture.
I finally stopped, letting him catch his breath.
"I don't want to hear you complain about the room anymore, okay petal?" Harry hugged my body close to his, his mouth resting slightly against my forehead. "I wanted to do it."
I nodded my head, finally giving up on the topic. I appreciated the gesture, I'm sure that Daisy would love it. I loved it.
But there was something about it that made everything so real.
It's not like I was moving in with him, but honestly with the amount of nights out of the week that he spends the night at my apartment, we basically did live together. But Harry turning one of his rooms into Daisy's room made it all surreal.
