Chapter 33

Marigold's POV

I turned to my side, smiling as I felt Harry's arm still draped over my waist. There's nothing better than waking up in Harry's arms. My fingers grazed over his cheek, watching as he slept. His mouth was parted slightly and his eyebrows were ever so slightly furrowed together, the softest snores rolling from his mouth.

I hummed, pressing a small kiss to his forehead before carefully peeling his arm off of my body. I grabbed my phone off the side table and made my way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. Might as well get some breakfast going for Harry and Daisy.

When I emerged from the bathroom Harry was still fast asleep, his arms curled up to his chest as he cuddled into the blanket. He Iooks so peaceful.

In the kitchen I got the coffee pot going, knowing Harry would drink a glass or two when he decides to get up. I took note of the empty sink, setting a mental reminder to thank Harry for cleaning up for me last night. After cooking some eggs and toast and chopping up some fruit, I poked my head into Daisy's room who was due to get up any minute now.

It was already 7:30 and Daisy hardly ever sleeps in past 8 unless she's sick. I smiled when I saw her already sitting up in her bed, her hair going in every direction.

"Good morning, bunny." I smiled. Her head turned in my direction, her eyes squinting at me through the dark room. I flicked up on the light and she slapped her hands over her eyes with a groan.

"Mommy!" She screamed.

"Sorry, sorry. Come on." I laughed, pulling her out of her bed. She followed me to her bathroom, pulling her jammies down to sit on the potty.

"You sleep okay?" I asked, pushing her hair out of her face. I scrunch my nose as my fingers got caught in some knots, she's going to hate me when I brush it.

She hummed, "Mhm." She was still groggy as she balled up some toilet paper to wipe herself before making her way to the sink, climbing her toddler steps to reach the faucet. I brushed her hair as she washed her hands and brushed her teeth.

"Bunnies, piggies or a braid today?" I asked as I detangled her hair. She groaned as I tugged on certain spots.

"Bunnies." She spat out the toothpaste from her mouth. I split her hair down the middle, pulling either side up in little tiny little buns.

"Alright, go pick out what you want to wear today and then head to the kitchen. Foods already on the table for you. I'm going to wake up Harry now." I kissed the top of her.

Harry was in the same position as when I left him 30 minutes ago. I sat on the edge of the bed, my hand rubbing his arm softly to wake him up.

"Baby, it's time to wake up." I said softly, shaking him slightly. He gave me a groan in response but didn't move from his position. I chuckle, giving him a harder shove.

"Har-" My focus drifted to his phone that awakened on his night stand. The screen was filled with notifications. "Your phone's blowing up, love." I laughed, picking up the phone to see who it was.

Jeff:
I told you by the end of the day.

You better have an answer by noon, we have to move fast before the spots get filled.

Have you spoken to Marigold about it? I know that's the reason you're hesitating.

I furrowed my eyebrows, dropping the phone back onto the night stand. Decision for what?

"H." I said again, pushing his body back and forth. "Hey.. time to wake up. Daisy's waiting for his in the kitchen." I say again, pinching his skin a little.
