Harry's POV

Marigold fell to the ground, completely passing out beside us. I was on the floor next to her in seconds, holding onto her limp body. I looked up at Jacob, who was just watching with wide eyes.

"Go get a doctor, you idiot!" I shouted at him, frustrated by his lack of initiative in times of urgency.

"Come on, Marigold... I've got you. Wake up, petal." I pushed Mari's hair out of her face, stroking her cheek softly. "It's going to be okay."

"They're over here!" I heard Jacob's voice from down the hall, and the sound of approaching footsteps echoed through the empty corridors. I lifted my head to see a nurse beside Jacob.

"She just passed out. I don't know... she hasn't woken up yet," I explained, standing up and cradling Marigold in my arms. Another nurse brought a wheelchair to us, prompting me to place Marigold gently in it.

"Are you her boyfriend?" the nurse asked me. Without even thinking, I nodded my head. "Okay, do you want to follow me? We'll bring her to the general wing for some tests and to ensure she's comfortable... Normally, passing out wouldn't be a big concern, but since she hasn't regained consciousness, I just want to make sure everything's okay," she explained.

"Okay, yes. I'll follow you," I replied, glancing back at Jacob. "Stay with Daisy. Call me when she wakes up," I instructed him firmly, locking eyes with him.

Jacob's jaw clenched, and I could tell he was resisting the urge to roll his eyes or make a snarky comment. "I don't have your number," he retorted.

"You have Mari's, just call her. I'll answer," I said, starting to walk off with the nurses. "As soon as she wakes up," I added, pointing my finger at him once more before turning away completely and catching up with the nurses.

Marigold was taken into a secluded room to rest, still not having gained consciousness. I was guided to another waiting room where I anxiously sat, my mind consumed with worry. The minutes dragged on as I replayed the events in my head, contemplating the possible reasons for Mari's sudden loss of consciousness.

"I think she's just tired," I began, my voice filled with a mix of worry and guilt. "She had worked a full shift before we boarded the plane for a 5-hour journey. She didn't even take a moment to rest. Lately, she's been under a lot of stress." I explained to the nurse. I frowned, knowing that I probably caused a lot of that stress.

"Okay, we're just going to run some blood tests to see her levels. She still hasn't woken up yet and that's enough to cause concern for us. We'll update you as soon as we know something." She gave me a reassuring smile before shutting the door.

I let out a deep sigh, my heart heavy with the weight of the situation. Both of my precious girls are in hospital beds.

I ventured back towards the children's wing, alleviating Jacob of his duties so that he could go home and wash up a bit. He agreed, begrudgingly.

Pulling a chair close to Daisy's bed, I sat down and reached for her small hand, cradling it gently in my palm. I brought her hand up to my lips, pressing a tender kiss on her knuckles.

"Hey, baby love. It's me, Harry," I whispered.. "I know it's been far too long since I've seen your beautiful face... I'm sorry for not coming home sooner." My brows furrowed as I battled my emotions. "I've missed you more than words can express. Your mommy is here too, resting in another room. She's eagerly awaiting the moment you wake up."

"How about I sing you a song? It's been a while since I've had the privilege of singing to you huh, baby love?" I smiled, rubbing her knuckles in my hand. Daisy remained still in her sleep, her chest rose and fell with each breath.
