The rest of the day my mind was foggy. I wasn't under Hitoshi's quirk anymore, but I could no longer focus on the class.
And it was when everybody had left the classroom that I realized the day had ended. Reluctantly, I stood up and grabbed my things, dragging my feet out of the classroom.
I felt like a zombie, and I probably looked like one, but I couldn't afford to care. Hitoshi... he had never used his quirk on me, not even when I asked him to...
"(L/n)-san...?" A nervous voice reached my ears, and I looked toward it. The curly green-haired boy from 1-A was standing in front of me.
"Midoriya-kun..." I mumbled.
"Are you okay?" He walked up to me and touched my arm softly, my (e/c) eyes looked at his and I nodded. "Can I...?" My eyes trailed to his hand, seeing a burnt notebook and a mechanical pencil, the words written on it read 'Hero Analysis For The Future #13'.
That's right... he wanted to ask me some things about my quirk...
"Sure, but first I have to go talk with Midnight-sensei... you wanna come?" He nodded with a hum and began following me to the teachers' lounge.
My knuckles knocked on the wooden door and it was opened.
"Oh, Midnight-sensei I have to ask you something..." she smiled and let me in while Midoriya stayed outside, waiting patiently.
"It's about your Hero name, right?" She asked while I was taking out the board that the principal gave me, I nodded at her question.
"Here." I gave it to her and she hummed, staying silent for a few seconds.
"Paralyze... I like it." A tiny grin tugged my lips up.
"Okay, I'll be going now, excuse me," I stepped out of the room and walked towards the exit while Midoriya followed me close behind.
There, I saw a boy and a girl. Iida Tenya and Uraraka Ochaco. Both of them seemed surprised to see me walking next to Midoriya.
"Deku-kun...?" Uraraka spoke first, her brown eyes looking at me and then at Midoriya. "Why are you with him?" Even if her intention wasn't to sound like she was annoyed or anything, it made me feel a bit angry.
"Oh, (L/n)-san let me ask him some questions about his quirk," Iida walked up to me and just stood there, staring.
"What's your quirk, (L/n)-kun?" I swallowed my spit and backed away slightly.
"I can stop muscle activity..." I trailed on, and I saw his eyes shine with awareness.
"That explains some things," I nod and look at Midoriya. He turned and we locked eyes, his cheeks became a bit pink, but I didn't pay any attention to that.
"Can we go to my house, (L/n)-san?" He asked walking towards me. I hesitated a bit.
"Wait," I took out my phone from my pocket and texted my brother.
;I'm gonna go to a friend's house, I'll be home late.
For a few seconds, I waited, until my phone vibrated in my hand.
Aki;
Okay, I'll tell mom. Have fun, nii-san.
"I can go, Midoriya-kun." He smiled and we went our way toward the green-haired boy's house.
At some point, Iida and Uraraka went their own ways, and Midoriya and I ended up alone on the train.
All the way to his house was rather silent, he seemed to be in deep thought, probably about today.
