When I arrived home, I could see through the kitchen window that my parents were already up, and I internally cursed.
Good thing I know where the spare key is kept.
After debating what to do, I opened the front door and walked in. Right as they turned to look at me I was glad that I had my hood on because it casted a shadow over the marks on my lower neck and shoulders.
As I made eye contact with them, I acted surprised, "Oh, I didn't think you'd be already awake," I smiled and took off my shoes after I closed the door behind me.
My mother smiled at me, "Where were you, (M/n)?"
Quick, think of a believable excuse.
"Eh... I went out to run for a while, it was hard to sleep here after being in the dorms so long, and I just went to take some air." I smiled, trying to hide my nervousness.
They seemed to believe me though. So, excusing myself, I went upstairs to take a shower and change into clothes that would hide my marks.

The second I came downstairs, my father told me to go get the mail.
Opportunity to set the spare key where it belongs.
And I did just that. Walking back in and closing the door once again, dad told me to start with the pancakes while the twins were still asleep. I felt a bit uncomfortable, it was as if even though they believed my poor excuse, they were just acting like they did. I felt like they knew what I did last night and why I wasn't here this morning.
But before I got too nervous, I took out the batter mix from the fridge and began baking the pancakes.

It was a while after lunch, at three-forty, when my mother touched a conversation theme that made me choke on my spit. "When can we meet your friend, (M/n)? Bakugou-kun, right?"
I looked up at her and chuckled nervously. Think of another excuse, (M/n).
"I'm not su-"
A familiar ringtone echoed in the living room. Saved by the fucking bell- well, ringtone! It was Katsuki.
"It's him," I said after I grabbed my phone from the coffee table. It would been a bit suspicious if I told them who it was before looking at the contact, "I'll be back in a few." I walked up the stairs two steps at the time and locked myself in my room. After breathing in a few times, I picked up. "Hi, Katsuki, how-?"
"My parents know."
...Eh?
"Eh?! What do you mean they know?" My voice had a panic tone in it, but I tried to keep quiet.
"The old hag walked into my bathroom to take out the trash and found the condom there, I had to explain it to her," Katsuki sounded angry but also slightly embarrassed.
Well, I would be the same if that had happened to me.
"And now I'm going to your house to avoid the embarrassment."
What?
"W-wait, Katsuki-!"
Ding ding dong!
Shit, why Katsuki? Me, why?! When I gave him my house address I wasn't thinking clearly!
"I'll get it!" I yelled bursting out of my room and almost tripping down the stairs. The twins stared at me when I dashed past them while they were sitting on the couch, my parents walked out of the kitchen, staring at me too.
I opened the front door, and instantly stepped out, closing the door behind me. Katsuki's eyes were wide in surprise when he saw me gasping slightly, and then he smiled at me.
"I didn't think you'd be this eager to see me, (M/n)~," he wrapped my neck with his arms, pulling me down and kissing me. For a fraction of a second, I forgot what just happened when Katsuki's lips were on mine, but as soon as I came back to my senses, I reluctantly pushed him away softly. He observed me for a minute, "What?" I swallowed and avoided eye contact with him.
"My family wants to meet you." I waited for his answer, expecting a 'Maybe some other day,' or something like that, but instead-
"Then, good thing I showed up," -he said that.
He had pushed me aside and was about to grab the knob to open the door, but I reacted and held his wrist.
"Wait, are you sure you want to?" Katsuki smiled at me and held my face, cupping my cheeks.
"Of course, I want to meet my partner's family." He kissed my cheek and backed away from me, but instead of him opening the door, Katsuki made me grab the knob, "Now, show me off to your parents."
My heart began beating with excitement and nervousness as I opened the door, I allowed Katsuki to enter and closed it behind him. When I looked up, the four of them were standing in the living room, observing us both.
I cleared my throat to avoid my voice cracking and moved a bit so they could see Katsuki behind me.
"He is Bakugou Katsuki," was all I said, Katsuki took a step forward and bowed.
"Nice to meet you."
The awkward silence that followed made me want to bang my head against the wall until death. Why? Why did he have to come now? Couldn't he have told me beforehand? It would've-
"I finally get to meet the great Bakugou-kun!" My mom exclaimed and I saw her run towards Katsuki with open arms, hugging him tightly against her. Katsuki blushed and had his eyes wide, but he hesitantly hugged my mother back. "Takeru, come on. Akira, Ryo, come say hello to Bakugou-kun."
After that, the rest of my family surrounded Katsuki and shot questions at him, he seemed really uncomfortable at first, but when they got a chuckle out of him, he relaxed and blended in with them.
I felt happy and calm, while also proud of Katsuki for being able to handle them easily.
My father took Katsuki to the couch and we all sat down. I could only stare at the spiky-haired blond in front of me with a loving smile. My whole body had goosebumps as I saw him so friendly with the most important people in my life.
"(M/n)," my mom called me, and when I turned to look at her, she was standing beside me, "Can I ask you something?" I nodded and stood up, following her to the kitchen.
"What's wrong, mom?" I asked as soon as we entered the kitchen.
She chuckled and shook her head, "Oh, nothing is wrong, honey, but..." She hesitated for a moment, seemingly looking for the correct words, "Do you... like Bakugou?"
Without doubting it for a second, I nodded.
And I thought, what better opportunity to tell her?
"And we're also dating," her expression had the word 'shock' written on it, but she laughed it off.
"So, you don't mind if he stays for dinner?" I shrugged with a smile.
"That's up to him," she nodded and walked out, I followed her and stood beside her as she stopped in front of the kitchen door.
"Katsuki-kun," Katsuki flinched when my mother called him by his first name, he said a little 'Yes?' in response as he turned to look at her, "Do you want to stay for dinner?"
