"With Endeavor? The four of you? Amazing, you'll do well," All Might said, glancing over Katsuki's internship paper. The break room was different than the one we were in last time we got called by All Might, it was smaller, almost cozier. It was the end of the day, and before heading to the dorms, he had called us over and began preparing some tea for us. Izuku sat on my right and Katsuki on my left, sandwiching me between them to avoid conflict. It was like an unspoken role to me now, All Might pouring tea as we talked.
"What do we do about One For All?" Izuku's voice broke through the comfortable quiet. His tone was laced with worry, his body stiff as he leaned forward slightly, perhaps from the weight of the question or the presence of Katsuki in the room. Maybe both.
Katsuki shifted next to me, his eyes glancing away, out the window, a hint of irritation shining in them, silently waiting for the retired hero's response.
"I don't think it'll give you problems. Since Blackwhip showed up, you haven’t manifested other quirks," All Might's voice was steady, reassuring. "As long as you can imagine the lock on the door, you won't lose control again."
"Okay." Izuku's reply was quiet and thoughtful.
"I would open it all the way," Katsuki interjected harshly, his tone sharp as he leaned back, crossing his arms. Despite his seemingly bored demeanour, I could tell he was invested in the conversation.
"I don't doubt it," Izuku chuckled nervously, somehow easing some of the tension. I couldn’t help but smile at the exchange. Katsuki nudged me with his knee, a silent reprimand for my amusement.
"This is also good timing for you, young Bakugou," All Might’s words pulled us back to the conversation. Katsuki’s head snapped up, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion, "You and Endeavor are alike. Watching the current Endeavor would be positive for you."
Katsuki’s jaw clenched, and for a moment, it seemed like he was going to argue. But he didn’t. He remained silent, his eyes narrowing slightly as he processed the statement.
"If you wanna be great heroes, don’t waste this opportunity," All Might leaned forward, his fist closed and a subtle, encouraging smile on his face. His words carried the weight of experience, urging us to seize the chance to grow stronger.

"Bakugou, Midoriya, Todoroki, (L/n)," Aizawa’s voice broke the silence as he turned around from his seat at the front, "This is it," the bus began to slow down, approaching our destination, before coming to a full stop.
We stood up, following Shouto as we exited the bus. The moment we stepped out, we saw Endeavor waiting for us, standing without his hero suit and no flames. It was the first time I’d seen him like this, and the sight was… unsettling. The scar on his face, a remnant of his battle with the Nomu, only added to the strangeness. Seeing him so… ordinary, was like seeing Iida without his glasses or Aoyama with messy hair. It just didn’t feel right.
"Welcome to the Endeavor Agency," he greeted us with a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes. "I'm not in the mood for all of you," he added, his tone sharp and expression turned sour. That felt more like the Endeavor I’d expected, and it oddly put me at ease.
The wind suddenly picked up in a slight breeze, and I re-adjusted my face mask slightly. Katsuki didn’t look thrilled either, and Izuku was staring at Endeavor, wide-eyed and slightly open-mouthed.
"I allowed it only because Shouto asked me, but I would’ve rather if he came only with Paralyze," Endeavor’s words made me grip my hero suit container a little tighter. By now, people were stopping to stare, and I could feel the weight of their eyes on us.
