And finally, all the extra Nomus were dead. I took a deep breath, feeling a headache just beginning to appear, well, that was alright, I would be okay as long as my vision didn't start getting spotty.

I raised my arm to dry the sweat off my brow and turned around when I realized we weren't done yet, the talking Nomu was still alive and putting up a fight against Endeavor. I looked up at the sky, and found it hard to watch, as Endeavor's attack was blindingly bright from up close despite the distance between us, so I couldn't look, but... I did see-

"Endeavor-san...!"

And I saw how he was attacked by the Nomu.

I stayed frozen in place as I watched both of them fall on the debris of the collapsed buildings. I wasn't sure what I was thinking or if I was aware of it, but after seeing the Nomu standing above Endeavor, I began to run toward them. "Endeavor!" I called out to him, and the Nomu looked at me, the red colour of them shining with murderous intent, and it moved, taking a step toward me.

"Finally..someone...stronger...!" I gritted my teeth as I tried to run faster, and behind it, I noticed the flames rising again. I activated my quirk and kept the Nomu's legs in place, hearing it growl at me before its arms grew and made their way to me.

I heard the sound of wings flapping behind me, and I lifted my arm, waiting.

"Paralyze!" I felt Hawks' hands gripping my forearm and I held onto him as well as he took me off the ground and away from the Nomu's attack.

When I spotted a rooftop nearby, I let go of him and he did the same, and we both landed together.

"That was... Reckless..." I looked at him keeping a stoic expression, and he seemed to understand what I was trying to tell him, "Well, I would've done the same, so it's alright."

He sighed and we looked forward, where Endeavor was up again and fighting the Nomu, only to be knocked down once more. We watched as the Nomu turned and jumped onto a rooftop, and at that moment I used my quirk to prevent it from moving toward the evacuating civilians and enhanced my legs while keeping it in place, before running after it.

Hawks went ahead of me, and I watched as he gripped both of those long feathers he had used fo fight the Nomus, "You should stay back! It's dangerous!"

I frowned and looked up at him, he was looking at me over his shoulder, but I was able to match his speed while jumping from rooftop to rooftop, "You said it yourself, Hawks-san! It's dangerous, so you need all the help you can get! So let me help you while I can!"

There was a small smirk on his face, but after that, Hawks kept quiet and we rushed toward Endeavor, watching how he pushed through the pain and stood up on his feet.

The Nomu looked back, directly into my eyes and its body was suddenly flying forward toward the people. We were so close I could hear them screaming as they panicked, but there was Endeavor, his flames as strong as ever while he flew after the Nomu.

Hawks and I continued making our way to them, and in no time, we reached them. Hawks flew higher, and made his way behind the Nomu while I continued running after them, using my quirk on the Nomu to give the pros some advantage.

From below, I noticed small red feathers coming off of Hawks' back and remaining in the air, getting closer to Endeavour, and that's when I noticed one of Nomu's attacks toward him, "Hawks!"

I called out to him just in time, as he managed to dodge being hit too severely and just got his visor broken. My legs throbbed and twitched as my muscles approached overuse, but I continued jumping and running after them, observing how Hawks had practically run out of feathers to keep himself up in the air, as he had sent them over to help Endeavor increase his speed.

I stopped for a moment when Endeavor grabbed onto the Nomu, and watched as gravity began doing its thing. Moving a little to the left, I caught Hawks in my arms before he could hit the ground and we stayed in place, just witnessing the top hero fighting that Nomu.

"Hawks!" His deep voice called out to the blond, echoing in the street.

"My feathers are almost ashes! I can't help you anymore!" With that, Endeavor began ascending higher to the sky, breaking past the clouds and beyond, "I see, that way you'll be able to use your whole power without worrying."

Hawks and I stared at the spot in the sky, getting increasingly bigger and brighter, and I felt shivers all over my body. I was probably overwhelmed and I had just realized what was happening, but I almost felt like I would start crying.

And for a moment, it felt like the whole country had gone eerily quiet.

However, that feeling went away the moment I saw that same ball of fire descending faster than it had gone up, I wanted to go over there immediately, but there was a huge wind force that made it hard to move for a second or two, but soon, Hawks and I were running toward Endeavor, just to make sure he was alright.

Or well, as alright as he could be after fighting the Nomu.

I jumped off the roof of the store in the corner of the block and rushed toward Endeavor, who was standing with his right arm up, standing victorious. I stared for a moment and Hawks ran past, snapping me back so I kept moving, however...

There was a bright light of blue fire making its way toward me and all I could was cover my face while trying to get out of the way before getting roasted, the sleeve of my jacket catching on fire. I recognized that fire... And that face.

"(M/n)...!" Hawks made his way toward me and tried to extinguish the flames on my jacket. My whole body felt numb, so I didn't feel the pain the fire was causing me until he put them out.

I could feel the smell of burnt skin coming off my arm, and up to my neck, but I just stared forward at the man who had taken Katsuki away from me at the camp.
