Sometime before the New Year...

I woke up from my nap because of my stomach rumbling. Yawning, I looked up at the headboard of the bed, where Katsuki kept his clock.

3 pm. Yeah, no wonder I was hungry.

Katsuki said he wanted to sleep in all day, something about needing to be fully rested before going home to visit his parents and then tackle the internship. I understood his point, so I agreed to stay with him in his room most of the day.

I lifted my arm off of Katsuki's waist to reach for my phone. I went to Eijiro's contact once I turned it on, and I asked him if he could bring me a snack.

I waited and waited. Ten minutes later, he hadn't even seen my text so I went to Izuku's and did the same. Again, I waited. Frowning, I slowly sat up on the bed and put my phone back down as I wondered what they were doing that got them so busy, well, it doesn't matter, I'll go get something to eat myself.

I shifted around a bit, and Katsuki groaned beside me, turning around to face me, sleepy eyes looking up at me, "Where are you goin'?" I smiled at him and leaned down to place a kiss on his hair.

"Getting something to eat, be right back, love," I muttered close to his ear and he let me go, so I stood up and got out of his bed. I put on my slippers and walked out of the room, closing the door behind me.

Already out, I yawned again and began making my way to the elevator. The fourth floor was super quiet, more than usual, so I knew there was no one on this floor, but... There were subtle, muffled sounds of chattering coming from downstairs. I got in the elevator and rubbed my eyes, still feeling a little sleepy from that nap.

As soon as I placed a foot out of the metal box, the voice of my classmates pierced my ears. They were being so fucking loud. I stepped forward, making my way toward the noise and I saw them huddled up around a table by the window, rather close to the couches. I stared at them for about a second and continued on my way to the kitchen.

I was more hungry than I was curious about what they were doing honestly.

Already in the kitchen, I pulled out some bread from the pantry, and some stuff from the fridge to make myself a sandwich. I put it on a plate, grabbed two candy bars to eat later with Katsuki, and a water bottle.

Taking a bite out of my sandwich, I stepped out of the room and headed toward the elevator again, planning on walking past unnoticed. However...

"(M/n)! Come play with us!" Kaminari spoke as he and Mina came over to me, and held my arm to start pulling me toward the rest.

"Guys, I don't-," I began refusing their offer, trying to put resistance to the grip they had on me, yet they refused to let me go and continued dragging me with them.

"And Paralyze is the winner, three opponents in a row!" The recognizable voice of Present Mic reached my ears from where everyone was huddled up, catching me off guard and making Kaminari successfully drag me toward the table.

As I got close enough, I saw a simulated battlefield of Ground Gamma, a holographic mini version of me perched atop one of the roofs. Apparently, Yaomomo was the one that one, against Shouto. I watched with curiosity as the mini-me turned around, his huge eyes catching my attention, "What is this?"

Everyone turned toward me at the sound of my voice, and Izuku rushed over to me with an excited expression on his face.

"(M/n)-kun, this is a card game Togata senpai dropped by earlier today!" I blinked at him and watched how the players changed. Jiro versus Eijiro, "You use card of class 1A and extra cards, which the AI of the battle board identifies and creates a holographic version suitable for combat," he rambled as I stared at the simulated battle going on before me, "The extra cards disappear upon use, and you defeat your opponent by beating them on a fight or getting them out of bounds," yep, I confirmed that when I saw a mini Iida pushing Jiro out of the arena when she couldn't react to his speed, "It's super easy and fun!"
