Aia was on her way to General Sebastian's office. Markus told her that he was finally back.
Damn, Gabriel. He knew well that she's been dying to talk to the General and yet nang sunduin siya nito kanina sa campus hindi man lang ito nagsabi na dumating na pala ang hinihintay niya.
Napakamot siya sa ulo, "I was just testing the knob if it's locked or not. It's not so I'll go out and lock it," palusot niya.
"GET INSIDE!"
"Just when did you forgot how to knock, Aia?
Darn! He's acting 'Hitler' again. "I told you already I was just testing the knob if it's locked or not. It wasn't locked so I suppose there's nothing important going on here," Aia tried to reason out. Bahala na si Batman.
"Atlantis!"
"I'm sorry po! I shouldn't have said that," dali-daling bawi niya. Mag uusap pa sila. Baka palabasin siya nito sa opisina. "I rushed over here when I learned that you have arrived. I have so much to ask you, General, Sir. You know that."
Lumambot naman ang ekspresiyon nang mukha nito, "I know. But please kumatok ka sa susunod. I am still the General here."
"Opo."
"Good!" General Sebastian said and lean his arms over his table. "I suppose you're here because you want to ask about your dad?"
"That and..." sadyang ibinitin niya ang sasabihin.
"What?"
Aia looked at him in the eyes, "I want to help," she said with full conviction. Siguro mas mapapadali ang imbestigasyon with the help of science.
"Help? What do you mean?"
"You know very well what I'm talking about, General. I want to help with finding our perpetrator." Alam niyang hindi ito papayag pero she still gave it a try.
"This is not just about your family misfortune, hija," he said in a serious tone. "As you can see, this case involved national security. Buong mamamayang Pilipino ang sangkot dito. It is our job to solve this. Alam namin ang gagawin namin."
"But, General, Sir, we are involved also. We are the victims here, remember? I want justice!"
"You're a civilian, Aia. And you are just a kid."
