"Derek derek derek!" I bang on the door. "Meredith!" Carol opens the door. "Hi.. can I see derek?" I walk in. "Yes" she says. I run upstairs.
"Dereekkkkk!" I bang on his bedroom door. "What?" He asks. I walk in. I jump onto his bed, straddling his waist as he opens his eyes. He must've only just woken up.
"What is wrong with you?" He groans. "Look at this!" I show him a piece of paper. He looks. "You got 100% on your science exam?" He asks. I nod enthusiastically.
"I just got that in the mailbox this morning" I say. "Well done baby" he pulls me off of him. I giggle, laying next to him. He wraps his arms around me, kissing my cheek.
He snuggles his face into my neck. "Derek! How are you not more excited?" I whine. "I am mer" he mumbles tiredly. I sigh.
I kiss him softly. "I was having a really good dream before you woke me up" he sighs. "I'm sorry" I say. "You're lucky I love you.. and that you're cute when you're excited" he says. I giggle.
"I'm really proud of you" he whispers, snuggling into me. I smile brightly. He's proud of me.
He falls asleep, still holding me in my arms. "Der?" I whisper. He doesn't say anything. "Are you asleep?" I whisper. He doesn't say anything. I smile, kissing his head.
"I'm gonna go" I whisper. I gently pull his arms off of me and get up. I text him, telling him I had to leave, so he'll know when he wakes up, before walking downstairs.
"Carol" I walk into the living room. She looks at me. "One hundred percent" I show her my test results. She smiles. "Well done honey" she says. I grin.
"Why's derek asleep?" I ask. "He was up until quite late last night studying with olivia" she says. I tense up. "Um.. wi- I- was-" I stop myself. I trust him. "N-never mind" I shake my head.
"You okay?" She asks. "Uhuh" I nod. "You're not worried about him and Olivia are you?" She chuckles. I shrug. She laughs. I frown.
"Don't worry about it sweetie.. it took him 17 years to find you.. he's not exactly the school stud" she says. I giggle.
"How's the baby?" I ask. "She's good.. makes me sick every five seconds but.. good" she rubs her stomach. I chuckle softly. "That's good.. well, the baby.. not the sickness" I say. She chuckles.
"I need to go.. my mom's gonna kill me for sneaking out to see derek again" I say. She chuckles, shaking her head. "Bye" I smile. "Bye" she smiles. I leave, walking home.
It's a little while later and I'm sat in the living room with lexie. My phone buzzes. I pick it up.
Derek: hi cutie
Me: shut up
Me: hi
Derek: why'd you leave me??????
Me: I didn't leave you.. i just left
Derek: whatever.. traitor
I giggle, shaking my head. I put down my phone. "Was that derek?" Lexie asks. "Mhm" I nod. "What did he say?" She asks. "He was talking all about you" I say sarcastically.
"Really?" She furrows her brows. I grin. "You have a crush on derek, don't you?" I ask. "Wha- no!" She giggles. I glare at her playfully. "You do!" I point at her. She definitely doesn't.
"I don't.. he's my friend!" She says. I smile. "I know, I'm just teasing you.. sorry" I grin, hugging her. She glares at me. I giggle.
"He was just joking around with me because I left him whilst he was sleeping" I chuckle. She puts the tv back on.
Me: come over
Derek: really?
Me: yeah
Derek: I'm on my way
I smile, putting down my phone. "Mom, dereks coming over!" I yell. "Okay!" She says. I go upstairs to my room to get ready.
He arrives shortly after and we just hang out in my room for a little bit, go on a small walk in the park and go back home.
He has lunch with us and I give him one of his t-shirts I stole off of him for him to wear and he spends the night.
I decided to do one of them YouTube workout video things and oh my god I'm exhausted.
