I get up and walk out of class. I'm on my way to the toilets when I stop. "Derek?" I smile as I see him sat on the floor outside his classroom.

He looks up at me. He stands up. "Hi baby, what are you doing?" I walk over to him. He kisses me softly. "I failed my chemistry exam" he says. "What? How?" I ask.

"I don't know" he sighs. "Why are you out here?" I ask. "I walked out of class" he says. "Oh" I say shocked. Derek never breaks rules like that, unless I'm there to convince him to.

"Where's your test?" I ask. "In there" he says. I walk in. I grab his test off of the teachers desk and walk back out.

I look through the test. "Okay, it's okay.. you got a D.. I've had worse than that" I say. "I haven't" he says.

"Do you need to pee?" He puts his hands on my waist as I cross my legs. I nod. "Go" he chuckles softly. "I wanna make sure you're okay first" I say. "I'll stay here for you.. just go" he smiles small. I run into the bathroom.

I walk back out. "Did you wash your hands?" He teases. "Shush" I giggle, hugging his neck. He puts his hands on my waist.

"Babe, I know you're upset.. but you can't throw a tantrum everytime you get something wrong in school" I say. "I can" he says. I giggle. He smiles.

"Is this my fault again?" I ask. "What?" He asks. "For not letting you study? Distracting you?" I ask. "What? No baby, this is my fault" he says.

"What did you get for chemistry?" He asks. I look down. "You can tell me" he says. "I got a B" I say. "Babe! Oh my god, well done" he smiles, hugging me tight. I smile brightly.

I do lower chemistry, so my test is different to his. That's probably why I got a better grade than him. It's marked differently.

"Are you not mad?" I ask. "Why?" He furrows his brows. "I did better than you" I mumble. He smiles. "I'm proud of you" he kisses me.

I put my hands on his cheeks. He gently pushes me up against the lockers. He pulls away from my lips slowly. I smile at him.

"I love you" I kiss him softly. "I love you more" he hugs me. "No you don't" I giggle, hugging his neck. He kisses my shoulder softly.

I pull away slowly. The bell rings. "Homeee!" I hold his hand. We leave the school and he drives us home.

"No! Baby" I giggle at the question he asks me. We're in bed. He's laid down and I'm laid on my stomach between his legs, my chin resting on his chest.

"I can't answer that" I say. "Fine, who would you rather marry.. my dad or my best friend" he says. "That's such a stupid question" I say. "Answer" he grins. "Your dad" I say. He gasps. I giggle.

"Who would you rather sleep with.. Cristina or izzie?" I ask. "Izzie" he says. "Derek!" I exclaim. "What!? Cristinas scary" he says. I chuckle.

"What about you? Mark or.. um" he stops. "I have no other friends" he says. I giggle. "Oh! Mark or jackson" he says. "Jackson is your friend?" I ask. He nods.

"Since when?" I ask. "Last week" he says. I smile. He's so cute. "Mark" I say. "Why?" He asks. "He's just like.. a less cute version of you" I chuckle. He furrows his brows but smiles.

"I'm bored of these questions.. what else should we talk about?" I ask. "I'm tired" he says. "You can't sleep" I say. "Why not?" He asks. "I'm not sleepy yet" I say. He sighs.

"Would you still love me if I was ugly?" I ask. "You are ugly" he says. I gasp. "I'm joking! I'm only kidding" he says. "Derek!" I giggle, genuinely shocked.

"I'm sorry" he says seriously. I laugh harder. "I don't like you" I say. He smiles. "You're beautiful" he kisses me. I smile. "And yes, I would" he says. I grin.

"Would you still love me if I was-" I ask. "No" he cuts me off. "Stop being mean!" I whine. He chuckles. I giggle.

"I'm tired, mer.. let me sleep" he says. "Fine" I frown. I watch him as he closes his eyes, cuddling into his pillow.

"Stop watching" he chuckles. I grin. I close my eyes too, cuddling into him. He falls asleep. I just relax in his arms for a bit, listening to his heart beat.
