"Derek" I hear. I feel the light weight of meredith's tiny body ontop of me. "Derek" she whispers. I open my eyes slowly.
Her face is just millimetres apart from mine. "Meredith" I chuckle softly. "Personal space" I gently move her away slightly. "I hurt" she says. "What? Where?" I sit up.
I brush her hair out of her face. "It hurts.. like, down there" she says quietly, like she doesn't want anyone to hear, even though we're the only ones in the room.
"Describe it to me.. the pain" I say. "It hurts when I pee.. like, really bad.. I cried" she says. I sigh. "I think it's a uti" I say. "You gave me a uti!?" She hits me. "Its not a virus.. you can't catch it" I chuckle softly.
"Derek, it hurts" she tears up. "I'm sorry" I wrap my arms around her. "I need to pee again.. I'm scared" she says. I look at her. "It'll hurt" she pouts.
"You have to come with me" she gets up, holding my hand. "To the bathroom?" I chuckle. "Mhm" she nods. She can't be serious. "Please Derek.. it really hurts" she says. I let out a small chuckle, standing up.
We walk into the bathroom. "I can't believe I'm going with you to wee" I chuckle. She giggles. I look away as she pulls down her panties, sitting on the toilet. She holds my hand.
I jump slightly as she screams. I try not to laugh. I know it hurts but she's such a drama queen, I love her. She's adorable. She bites my hand. "Ow" I groan.
"You act like you're giving birth or something" I chuckle, looking down at her. She grins, looking up at me with my hand still in her mouth. "Let go" I say. She bats her eyes. I glare at her. She let's go of my hand.
I chuckle. "Okay, you can go" she says. I roll my eyes, walking out of the room. I hear her giggle. I climb back into bed, lay down and try to go back to sleep.
She climbs into bed next to me. I groan as she cuddles Into me. "What?" She mumbles. "Its too hot" I groan. "Well I want cuddles" she says.
"You want me to take you to the doctor? You can get antibiotics" I suggest. "Mhm.. later" she nods. "Okay, whatever you want" I mumble.
"Did you get any sleep last night?" She strokes my cheek gently with her thumb. I shake my head. She sighs.
"Take your antidepressants before you fall back asleep please" she says. "No, I'm tired" I moan, pushing my face into my pillow. "Please der.. for me?" She says. "Fine" I sigh, nodding.
She gets up and passes me it. I take it. "Thankyou" she leans down, kissing my head. I smile. She walks away.
"I can't sleep" I mumble. She turns back around. "You want me to lay with you?" She asks sweetly. "I have a really bad headache" I say. "You want me to shut up?" She asks.
"No, can you come over here?" I ask. she walks over to me. I sit up, looking at her. "Oh" she realises what I want her to do. She climbs beneath me, her legs either side of me as she leans against the headboard.
I snuggle my face into her chest. She strokes my back gently. Her phone rings. "Sorry" she reaches over, grabbing it.
Meredith's pov:
"Hey" I say quietly into the phone. "Deluca just asked me out.." Cristina says. "What?" I ask shocked. "Yeah" she says. "What did you say?" I ask.
"I haven't replied.. it was over text" she says. "Say no" I say. "What? Why?" She asks. "I um- just say no" I say. Only me, derek and the people that were in the hallway that day I shouted about it knows that I slept with deluca.. my friends don't.
"No, mer.. I wanna go" she says. "Cristina, I'm telling you.. you shouldn't" I say in the nicest way I can. "Why?" She asks. "I-" I stop. I don't want to say this again infront of derek.. I hate bringing it up.
"She had sex with him!" Derek says. I sigh. "What!?" Cristina exclaims. "You're welcome" Derek mumbles, snuggling into me. I roll my eyes, chuckling softly.
Me and cristina talk on the phone and she lectures me for about 20 minutes about how I shouldn't have done that. I agree and we finally say bye and hang up.
"Well thanks for that" I say sarcastically. He doesn't say anything. I look down. I smile as I realise he fell asleep.
I run my fingers through his hair. I decide to go on my phone for a bit. When he wakes up finally he takes me to the doctor and we get some antibiotics for the uti.
