Me and derek are sat in class next to eachother. His teacher let me join his science course for a little while. He's really nice. We're sat at the back of the class as the teacher speaks.
The teacher tells us to get into partners for a project. "Derek will you work with me?" Andy turns around to face him. "I- I don't know anyone in this class.. I'll have nobody to work with" I whisper.
"You can work with april" Andy says. "You can work with April" I say. "Who would you rather work with derek?" I ask. "Um" he says.
I kick him under the table. "You! You.. I wanna work with you.. I'm sorry andy" he says. She turns back around. "Asshole" I hit him. "I was going to say you" he whispers.
"We already live together.. we can just do the project at your apartment" I say. "I was going to pick you" he says. I roll my eyes. "I promise" he chuckles. I grin as he kisses my cheek.
I start coughing. "You okay?" He asks. "Mhm.. I think I'm ill" I groan. He strokes my hair back. I smile.
We wait until the end of the class and go back to his apartment. "You wanna start on the project now?" He asks. "Absolutely not" I climb into bed after changing into one of his shirts. He chuckles.
"You feel worse?" He asks. "Mhm" I nod. He walks over to me, sitting on the bed infront of me. "Yeah, you look terrible" he teases. I giggle. He brushes my hair out of my face, kissing my head.
"Oh, you do feel warm" he puts his hand on my head. "Mhm, I feel like crap.. I might be dying.. do you think its karma?" I ask. "For what?" He chuckles. "Cheating on you" I say.
"You didn't.. cheat on me" he sighs, pulling up the covers, tucking me in. "I did.. you trusted me and I cheated on you" I say. "We were on a break.. it wasn't right but we weren't officially together" he says. I sigh.
"And yeah, it might be karma" he grins. I chuckle. "Quick, punch me in the face" I say. "Why?" He chuckles. "If you get your revenge, my karma might go away and I won't have to die" I say. He laughs.
"What do you need?" He asks. "Nothing.. um, just some water please" I say. He gets me a bottle of water. "Thankyou" I drink it. He walks to the kitchen. He washes his hands.
"Seriously?" I ask. "What?" He asks. "You're washing your hands" I chuckle. "I touched your head.. I dont want to get ill" he says. I giggle. "If you think you're not cuddling me tonight then you're wrong" I say. He groans.
"No" he says. "Yes" I say. "I'm not your boyfriend anymore.. I dont have to" he grins. "Some friend you are" I scoff, rolling my eyes. He chuckles.
I hold my arms open. He grins, shaking his head. I nod. "I will come over there and sneeze on you if you don't get over here" I say. "You wouldn't dare" he says. I grin, pulling the covers off of myself.
I scream as he runs over to me, jumping ontop of me. I giggle hysterically, wrapping my arms around him. He kisses my cheek. I smile. "Don't you dare sneeze on me" he says. I giggle.
He pulls the covers over us both. He cuddles Into me. "How are you today der?" I run my fingers through his hair. "Out of ten?" He asks. "Mhm" I nod. "Six" he says. I smile. "That's really good" I say.
"Well I'm with my favourite person" he squeezes me. I smile. "I feel really good about us being friends" he says. Friends. "Me too" I say.
"So.. how has it been between you and Andy?" I ask. "Um.. the same as before honestly.. we're just friends again" he shrugs. "Any weird vibes?" I ask. He shakes his head.
"I um- the first time I saw her after, she said that it was fun and stuff but we haven't talked about it since" he says. "Oh, that's good then I guess" i shrug. He nods.
"You don't want to be more than friends with her?" I ask. "She's not really.. my type" he says. I get lost in his ocean blue eyes as he looks into mine.
"What is your type?" I smile. "Blonde, blue-green eyes, cute" he says. My eyes trail down to his lips. "nice but also very bitchy" he says. "Hey!" I giggle, hitting him. He grins.
"I heard what you said to everyone about deluca after I left school.. that was very bitchy" he says. I giggle. "It was true.. at least you can make a girl finish" I smirk. He grins.
"I'm better than him?" He asks. "Theres no competition" I say. He grins. I chuckle. "Plus, sex is always better with someone you love" I say. He smiles, nodding. "I agree" he says.
"Can we stop talking about it.. I hate thinking about it" I say. "Yeah of course.. sorry" he says. "But just for the record, your ass is so much cuter than his" I say. He laughs, rolling his eyes. I giggle, grinning.
"Shut up" he says. "Its true.. you have an adorable ass" I say. "You're blushing" I tease. He grins.
I sneeze. "Meredith!" He yells. I put my hand over my mouth, laughing. "I'm sorry.. I'm sorry" I giggle. "You promised!" He says. "I didn't mean to" I say.
"I'm going to tell everyone at school you pissed your pants" he says. I giggle. "Stop saying that!" I hit him. He laughs. We both smile, getting lost In eachothers eyes again.
I cuddle into him, closing my eyes. "You tired?" I mumble. "Not really but I'll lay with you" he pulls me into his arms as we lay down. I snuggle into him, falling asleep.
