I'm walking around school. I'm supposed to be in class but I got bored so I decided to go and find derek.

I look through the classroom window and see him sat at the front. A girl looks at me. I point at derek. She says something to him and he looks at me.

He glares at me. "Go to class" he mouths. I grin. "Come here" I mouth. He shakes his head. He goes back to writing. I roll my eyes.

I grab my phone. I pull down my top a little and take a picture of my red lacy bra. I send it to him. I look through the window to watch him as he picks up his phone.

He smiles. He looks at me. I grin. He shakes his head. I wait until the teacher is not looking before walking into the classroom.

A few people chuckle, watching me as I grab his arm, pulling him up. "Ow" he says as I pull him out of the classroom. "I bruise easily, careful!" He pulls his arm away.

"Why aren't you in class?" He puts his hands on my waist. "I got bored, do you want to go?" I ask. "No" he says. "Okay, what do you want to do?" I ask. "Go to class" he says.

"No" I say. "Fine, let's go" he holds my hand. "Really?" I follow him out of the school. He shrugs, nodding. We get into his car and he drives away.

"Do you have money? I forgot my purse at home" I ask as he pulls up to a gas station. he passes me his wallet. "I'll pay you back?" I ask. He nods.

I go into the shop and to the counter. "A packet of cigarettes" I say. "Which ones?" He asks. "Cheapest" I say. He puts them on the counter.

"Do you have ID?" He asks. "You're in my year at school.. you know that I don't" I say. He takes the money. I grab the cigarettes and leave.

I grab my lighter from my pocket and light it, getting in the car. "I didn't realise you were buying those" he pulls It away from my lips, throwing it out the window.

"Derek" I warn. "They're so bad for you" he says, taking the packet. "Derek!" I take them back. "I don't have them often.. I'm just stressed, okay?" I light another.

"Why?" He asks. "I don't want to talk about it" I say. "Baby" he puts his hands on my cheeks. "I don't want to talk about it with you!" I say.

"Why?" He asks. "I'm failing science and English and I might have to stay back a year" I say. "Oh" he says. "And I don't need judgement from you, an A star student" I pull his hands away.

"I'd never judge you" he says. "Yes you would! You always judge me.. you judge me for smoking, drinking, failing school, my dad-" I say. "I did not judge you for that!" He Interrupts me.

I roll my eyes. "I supported you the whole time your dad was being an asshole to you" he says. "I know.. I know, I'm sorry" I whisper.

"I don't like the fact that you smoke.. but that's only because I don't want you to get ill.. drinking I don't care about, I don't do it much personally but I know you like to have fun, and there's nothing wrong with that" he says.

"And as for school, you're really clever meredith.. you just need to focus" he says. I sigh.

"I can't focus" I say. "Why not?" He asks. "I just can't" I say. "Why?" He asks again.

"because school is the least of my problems.. my dad hates me, my parents will probably get a divorce, I might not get to graduate school the same time as my best friends and my boyfriend is suicidal!" I get out of the car.

I slam the door shut and run back into the shop, going to the toilets. I go to light a cigarettebut the lighter Is out of fluid. I groan, tossing the packet into the bin.

Tears run down my cheeks. I lean against the counter, trying to catch my breath as I sob uncontrollably.

Derek walks in, immediately pulling me into his embrace. "Derek please just go, I'll walk home" I try to push him away.

"Theres no way in a million years I'm leaving you here like this so shut up" he whispers. I cry into his chest.

We finally pull away after I calm down a little. He looks into my eyes. "I'm sorry" I whisper. "Don't be sorry" he says.

"I'm sorry.. I had no idea how much stress you were under" he says. "I didn't tell you" I shrug. "I should've known" he puts his hands on my cheeks. I kiss him softly. "Im sorry" I whisper.

"You want me to drop you off home?" He asks. "No, please can I stay with you?" I scrunch his shirt in my hands, pushing my face into his neck.

"Okay" he whispers, gently pulling my hands away. He wraps his arms around my waist from behind, leading me out of the bathroom.

"Are you mad at me?" I ask as we get in his car. "No" he says. I look at him. "I'm okay really.. I just had a bit of a meltdown but I'm fine" I chuckle softly.

He puts his hands on my cheeks. "I don't judge you meredith.. if anything, I'm scared of you judging me.. I hardly even have enough strength to stay alive" he whispers.

"I don't judge you for that.. and you are strong enough" I look into his eyes. "I love you" he says. "I love you too" I whisper.
