"AFTER WAR, comes the mourning of the dead and the repairing of what was broken," Maeve explained to Haley as she helped the hybrid girl up, "trust the process."

HAYLEY: I turned my back on the Mikaelsons when I tried to take Hope and while I don't regret wanting Hope to grow up around something better, I do regret trying to take her from her father and family.

"Seems we're officially orphans," Klaus comments when hearing a sibling enter.
"The spoils of war, hey?" Rebekah replies walking in.
"A family tradition."
"Minus the family."
"Well, you're here."
"In the skin of your choosing, no less."
"Well, poor you because that body is such a hardship. Meanwhile, the rest of the family enjoys the fruits of my labor. Freya has her freedom from Dahlia, and Marcel will forgive me once I hand him back the reins of the city. I was done with it, anyway."
"You would hand over your crown? And do what?"
"Raise my daughter with the help of my sisters, one big, happy family," Klaus also refers to Maeve when using the word "sisters."
"Now, that does sound grand, minus the giant, Elijah-sized hole in the room not to mention the fact Maeve has yet to agree to stay, but whilst your sisters raise your child, what will the child's mother be doing, exactly?" When he doesn't reply she continues, "This, dear brother, is not what happiness looks like."
She turns to walk away, leaving him and going to meet Freya and Maeve who had asked for her, but just as she goes to do so her neck is snapped. Behind her Klaus falls mercy to the same fate, his silverware clanging on the table.
In the other room Maeve is siphoning from Freya, allowing her to bring all the Mikaelson siblings' bodies into the compound - and placing boundary spells keeping them contained with ease. She had to place Kol in a temporary sleep coma rather than snapping his neck like she could for the others, which was a spell she hadn't used in a rather long time. All typical work for a family meeting.
She flicks her fingers once more, waking the siblings, "so we have a lot to talk about."
Elijah, annoyed, pushes on the spell, "release me."
Maeve glances at him, pondering his request, "no."
He clenches his jaw, looking away.
"If she releases you, well then you would leave and miss the show," Marcel says as he enters with a smile, "and we would really hate for you to miss the show."
