"A BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY," Maeve says looking back at Elijah who is in bed.
The sun glowed perfectly on the heretic, Elijah thought to himself smiling. He almost misses what she says as he is lost in thought, "What shall we do?"
Maeve walked back from the balcony climbing into bed again to kiss Elijah, something that she felt like never got old.
"We could spend the day here," she suggests running a finger down his chest.
He catches it, "or we could have a lovely breakfast and see the town."
"We'll need to move on in a day or two," she says, reminding him and giving in to the plan.
They rise from bed and with only a few kisses stolen quickly get ready.

ELIJAH: Before we can share how she got her revenge, you need to understand how she was captured.
ME: Including why you betrayed her?
ELIJAH: It was always and forever, I never betrayed that.

"Why don't you try finding him? Klaus I mean," Maeve asks Elijah once they've sat to eat breakfast.
"With my help finding him wouldn't be an issue," Maeve presses on when she doesn't receive a response.
"My brother means everything to me, and I have spent the last thousand years hoping for a chance at his redemption."
"And you found it."
"I thought I did, but now after Marcellues death..." Elijah trails off.
Maeve, due to Marcel's request, neglects to tell Elijah that "Marcellus" is well and alive. But still she understands what he means, Elijah believed the man Klaus adopted as a son would be the key to his redemption. However now that Klaus believes that son is dead, there is no telling how backwards any progress he made has gone backwards.
In Maeve's own opinion Marcel was not Klaus redemption, but rather his blind spot. His son all the same, but not the key to his redemption. No, the key to his redemption may be held by a singular person but many help find it and align it in the lock. Then finally, the original hybrid himself has to be the one to unlock it. And that is nowhere near happening now.
"Have some more faith in your brother, would you?"
"It's hard when he is insistent on proving me wrong."
