"AND WILL THE MIKAELSON'S RETURN?" Vincent asks as the crew settles in for their weekly meeting.
"Yes," Maeve admits, "but it won't be like before...like ever before."
"Meaning?" Josh asks not having been filled in on the plan.
"How does a council sound?" Cami asks, striding into the room with a bright smile on her face.
"Oh Cami," Vincent greets rising to his feet, "it's good to see you."
She laughs as she embraces him warmly, "and it is good to see you too, all of you."
"What brings you back to town?" Vincent asks.
"Well," the blonde appears relaxed, confident and entirely happy, "the 6 months do end today but more than that I've been given a job offer I can't refuse."
"This council?" Josh asks to confirm as he poured the human a drink.
Bonnie nodded, "this city belongs to much more than just one species or the supernatural alone."
"This council will help different branches come together for the sake of New Orleans, witches, werewolves, vampires, humans and everything in between," Enzo explained.
"It won't be easy," Marcel added, "but after everything we have built this past year it is not impossible."
"Then let's make this city something to be celebrated," Cami raised her drink for a toast.

REBEKAH: I spent those six months in New York and Marcel did end up visiting me every month for a week.
We might've reunited a little bit more after making it out of the chamber de chasse.
MARCEL: That time that I spent in New York made me realize just how much existed beyond the city even if New Orleans was always going to be my home.
