"That was far too easy, don't you think?" Cassius asks, "I mean they're meant to be bait, to distract Klaus-"
"Don't jinx it," his brother interrupts, 'did you send the picture?"
A smirk spread on Cassius' face, "it's not 3 yet."
"But you've taken it?"
He nods, "it's a good one, he won't be able to resist."
"Good," Andreas replies, "I'll warn our men."

HAYLEY: Maeve's mind never ceases to amaze me. She had eyes and ears everywhere, taking advantage of both the supernatural and human aspects and advancements of the world.

"We're bait aren't we?" Elena asks, voicing what they've all been thinking.
"Yeah, but for who?" Caroline asks, exhausted. Her whole body felt utterly weak and dirty, her eyes threatening to shut on her.
No one answers her, no one really knows. Enzo can't help but wonder why he too was taken, the others at this point have several years of history together. Not to mention that the Salvatore brothers, a doppelganger and a Bennett witch are all part of the group. Maybe he shouldn't have stuck around, he's already spent most of his life imprisoned, he's not looking to continue that pattern.
"Does it matter?" Enzo finally asks, "we need to be focused on getting out."
"Yeah but we don't even know who's got us captured, I mean they took us all out fairly easily despite the fact there were practically all supernatural beings there," Stefan responds, rubbing his hands over his face, it wouldn't do him any good to fall asleep now.
"Yeah, why didn't Liv or somebody do anything? Actually, why wasn't she or Tyler taken either?" Damon asks.
"Do you think they had something to do with it?" Caroline wonders.
"Definitely not," Elena responds, "look the most obvious answer is that it's probably linked to her," she shoots a look at Mae's sleeping form.
"Really? Why?" Enzo asks, sitting up straight.
"Well we know nothing about her, remember those few days when she left to do god knows what?" Elena looks around surprised that no one else seems to see the obvious.
