"GIVE ME A CHANCE," Finn whispered to Maeve, "let me prove myself as part of the family."
For him, it wasn't a hard decision to make - Maeve was a Mikaelson and she would never want to part from the others, and so was Freya; and the two of them were the most important people to him, they always had been.
"How can you not be angry?" Maeve asked him, wiping away the last of her tears.
He took a deep breath, "because I've spent too long being angry for someone who hates the emotion. And like my siblings have always said, family is meant to be always and forever. And you, Maeve, are my family."
"And because your mine, the moment you want it, the cure can be yours," but Maeve prayed that he wouldn't ever take it - she didn't ever want to lose him.

MARCEL: But just because Maeve and Freya and both deemed Finn to be one of them, to be family, that didn't mean the rest of us had.
ELIJAH: Niklaus especially was still angry at Finn for attempting to kill his daughter.
HAYLEY: We were all angry but some of us showed it in different ways. Klaus liked to poke at Finn, that was his way - and both Kol and Davina were more than happy to help him out.
DAVINA: That might have been the first time Klaus and I ever agreed on anything *smiles*

"He is not staying here!" Klaus yelled out pointing a finger in the general direction of where Finn stood downstairs with Freya.
Cami rubbed her fingers on her temples, "calm down," she finally snapped.
Klaus opened his mouth but Cami gave him a look.
"Look, we just take this one day at a time," Maeve attempted to reason.
"It's Christmas," Cami added.
"We'll see after tonight," Klaus finally conceded, rubbing his jaw.

REBEKAH: God bless Cami for rending us all that in the spirit of Christmas, we should all be welcoming. Otherwise, Finn's return may have gone very differently.
