"BEFORE WE BEGIN I feel I must warn you..."  Maeve trails off.

"Warn us about what?" Caroline questioned.

"That this is the story of how a siphoner witch became a vampire with the sole intention of surviving and thus it is not a pretty story, don't feel too much pity for me afterwards," Maeve looks at Bonnie through the mirror as she speaks.

Bonnie nods, right now she just wants answers to help her piece together who Maeve is.

"Then lay back and trust me to keep driving," the incantation is non verbal as most of Maeve's spells have become.

REBEKAH:      I've said it before but I'll say it again, Maeve was a genius.

ME:      Regarding this memory, how so?

KOL:      She warned them not to feel too much pity for her, but then she told a story that would warrant pity out of any who felt any form of human emotion. And because she warned them not to feel too much pity for her, it made them feel even more pity.

"You are evil incarnated," it's said as though it is a fact.

Maeve doesn't even bother to reply to her father. She simply sits there, staring at her hands. Her hands that had just taken magic from someone else.

"Her death will bring your exile from this family. You are not living here, maybe someone will pity you or maybe not."

Maeve waits for him to leave before letting the tear fall. She hadn't meant to do anything, she simply wanted some of the bread. Her breath heavies as she recalls her mothers expression, watching her in shock before she falls unconscious. Maeve brings a hand to her mouth as the tears turn to sobs. She was going to be the reason her mother died, maybe her father was right.

Maybe she was evil incarnated. Maybe she deserved her exile.

MARCEL: She wasn't evil incarnated, but she could become it.

"Brother-" Maeve was cut off causing her to sigh.
