(Kidd) I Love You So

This is my first time writing a chapter based on a song, but every time I hear this song I think of Eustass Kid. I might be crying by the time I'm done with this thing, it kinda hurts. But don't worry I'm not good at writing sad content, so we should be ok.

"For goodness sake, Eustass! Listen to me! You're gonna get hurt!" I yelled, trying to keep my boyfriend from doing something stupid. "Get off me! I'm gonna do what I want!" He said, trying to fling me off his arm. "Damnit, Eustass!" I said as I hit the ground behind him after his attempt to fling me off his arm was successful. "I'm gonna do whatever the hell I want, woman." He said, his famous frown on his face. I sighed.

Eustass and I had been together for a long time now, we had been deeply in love for a long time. Through all the stupid, violent stunts he had pulled I had forgiven him. Every time. No matter what. But my patience was wearing thin. I couldn't keep him from doing stupid things. He kept hurting people around him and it was driving me crazy, it made me begin to wonder where our relationship was heading.

"YN, you coming on the ship? It's almost nighttime. Captain wants to know what the hold up is." Killer yelled down to me. "Actually, I'm not getting on the ship... I'm gonna go get a hotel room. I need a little while alone." I said, walking off. "What? What happened? You alright?" Killer asked, sounding worried. "Oh yeah I'm fine." I said, my voice slightly wavering.

I walked off quickly and I arrived at a small hotel on the edge of town. I walked inside and the lady at the front desk gave me a cheery smile. "Hi! Room for one?" She asked. "Yup." I said, putting some berries on the counter.

The lady handed me a key and I walked over to the door then unlocked my room. I walked inside, kicked off my shoes and laid down on the bed. Then the tears started coming.

"Damnit, Eustass. You can't go try and kill an emperor. He's going to murder you, and then where would that leave me? And remember what he did to you last time. You lost an arm." I asked myself as though Eustass was actually there. "I guess there's nothing I can do, there's no convincing you otherwise. You're just that damn stubborn." I said, slightly lifting my face off the pillow.

I laid there for a moment. "Maybe... I should just end our relationship. I'd feel better... after a long time." I said, looking up at the ceiling. "He's an ass. He doesn't consiter your feelings." I said to myself, trying to convince myself to break up with him. "He's always annoyed you, he has the worst fashion sense and he's a dumbass." I said to myself, which just made me cry harder, for some reason. "Damnit, why can't I just hate him." I asked myself, shoving my face into the damp pillow.

I laid there for a little while, but then came a knocking on my door. I sighed and got up, then unlocked the door and looked outside. "Eustass." I said to the red haired man standing outside my door. "Why the hell are you here?" I asked, a frown on my face. "You've been crying." He said, sticking his arm in the crack in the door. I stayed silent. "YN, can I come in?" He asked, his tone changing from his usual angry tone to a softer, sweeter one. "O-Oh sure." I said, openening the door the rest of the way.

"Listen, YN. I followed you here. And I heard everything you said." He said, sitting on the edge of the bed. I sighed. "Stalker." I said under my breath. "And really, by now I don't know why you haven't broke up with me." He said, sighing. We both stayed silent for a moment. "Eustass, I know why I haven't." I said, a small smile on my face, even though I had started crying again. He made a "hmm?" noise. "I love you so." I said, scooting over to the edge of the bed to sit with him

Eustass chuckled. "I love you too, YN. And I'm really sorry. This time, I won't won't after Red-Haired if it worried you that much. But I can't guarantee anything else. And you can't tell anyone you saw this side of me." He said, his famous scowl back on his face. "Even Killer?" I asked. "Even Killer." He said, sighing.

"Now, shall we head back to the Victoria?" He asked. "Yeah. Let's get some sleep." I said, kissing his cheek.
