(Corazon) Welcome to Our Garden

Hello people. I see you have arrived to read this. I have no foreword but I have to have one so here it is. Enjoy the story.

"YN~ wake up it's tomato day." Corazon said, shaking me awake. "You're up already..? How early is it?" I asked, stuffing my face in the pillow. "It's exactly seven. You have to get up, it's a big deal, love." He said, still shaking me. "Ok ok, I'm up." I said, sitting up. "Good morning, Corazon." I said, looking into his eyes. "Morning, love! I made breakfast." He said, smiling. I chuckled. "Tomato day isn't that big of a deal. You didn't have to get up early and make me breakfast." I said, a smile spreading across my tired face. He chuckled. "But you're my wife and tomato day is important to me, so I got up to make breakfast." He said, crawling towards me on the bed. "You sure are adorable sometimes." I said, kissing his cheek.

Corazon excitedly jumped off the bed, and I sleepily followed him to the kitchen. I sat down at the table and he sat down a plate of food down in front of me, which consisted of waffles, sausage and eggs. The waffles had a smiley face drawn in syrup on it. I laughed lightly. "Enjoy, YN!" He said, scooting his chair closer to mine. "Oh I will. Thanks, sweetheart." I said, taking a bite of sausage.

After we had finished breakfast, we went and got dressed. "You ready to go to the farm store to buy tomato seeds, Corazon?" I asked, a smirk on my face. "Of course I'm ready, I've been ready since four this morning." He said, smiling. I chuckled. "Alright. Let's head to Rural King then." I said, opening the door for Corazon.

We began to walk to the store, and on the way, Corazon grabbed my hand. "You mind if we hold hands? It's ok if you don't want to but-" He said as I gave him a loving look. "You don't ever have to ask." I said, kissing his cheek. He laughed. "Alright. Note taken." He said, smiling. A light blush spread across my cheeks.

"So, YN, what kind of seeds are we getting?" Corazon asked, a curious tone in his voice. "Tomato." I said, sarcastically. "I mean what kind of tomato~" He said, poking my shoulder. "I dunno... whatever we find acceptable or delicious." I said, smirking. "Do I get to pick a tomato this year~ You wouldn't let me when I was just your boyfriend~" He said, smiling. "Alright, sure. You can pick a type of tomato this year." I said, kissing his cheek. "Alright! Let's get to Rural King already!" He said, smiling wide. I laughed. "Patience, sweetheart. You have to wait." I said, poking his cheek. "Ok ok fine." He said, sighing.

We arrived at Rural King and Corazon made a beeline towards the seed displays, where he quickly looked over the tomato seeds trying to decide on one to pick. I followed behind him and picked up a few seed packets of tomatoes I had already tried and enjoyed, yet Corazon was trying to decide on a tomato.

"Hey, what's taking you so long?" I asked, looking at my oddly-dressed husband. "I'm trying to find a tomato as special as you... but I'm having serious difficulty." He said, glaring at the tomato seeds. A blush spread across my face. "Corazon-" I said, practically speechless. He stood up and I put my arms around him. "Huh? You alright YN?" He asked, putting his arms around me as well. "You're just so cute, it gets too much sometimes." I said, squeezing him a little. He laughed again. "I'm telling you I'm not trying to be cute-" He said as I cut him off. "Well you are. Accept it." I said, kissing his cheek.

I let go of him and he continued to look at tomato seeds. His eyes lit up when he saw a certain seed packet. He picked it up and showed it to me. The tomato was called "dwarf purple heart" tomatoes. "They're perfect, YN!" He said, smiling. "Alright, they suit you perfectly." I said, smirking at Corazon.

We went to the checkout and we bought the tomatoes. We began our walk home, and Corazon grabbed my hand again. He was oddly silent. "Everthing alright?" I asked, squeezing his hand. "I love you, YN." He said, planting a kiss on the top of my head. "I love you too, Corazon." I said, smiling a small smile at him. "No... not as much as I love you." He said, putting his arm around my shoulder.

We got back home, then headed out to the garden and planted the little seeds in the designated planter box. We then went inside and I washed my hands off. Corazon came from behind me and hugged me. "I'm glad I married you." He said, smiling. I turned around and hugged him back. "I'm glad I married you, too." I said, nuzzling my head into his chest.
