One Piece One-Shots

(Perospero) Wedding Day

Well since your woman here is kinda confused on what to write, I'm gonna write the wedding scene from that last Perospero one shot I did haha. I have no clue haha

Well it was finally my wedding day. Everyone in Whole Cake Island had been waiting, some even impatiently, for my wedding to occur. It was exciting for many people, not just me and Perospero, but for Big Mom as well, because she'd be gaining a whole other side to her family; even though we had little to no power or status in the world.

We were getting married for love, not a political marriage like many women before me who had entered into this family. Peros had proposed maybe a month ago, and finally our wedding day was about to begin.

I sat in front of a mirror, staring at the woman in front of me. I had on quite a bit of makeup, a blush colored, puffy wedding dress, and my hair was styled in a somewhat fairytale fashion. I myself hadn't gotten to pick the dress, but it still seemed to suit me well.

A chess piece guard then came in. "YN-sama, Perospero-sama is waiting for you." He said. I then heard a knock on my door followed by a small "YN" I nodded, then got up off my seat and went into the halls of the Whole Cake Chateau. "Well hello, YN." Peros said, avoiding eye contact with me in a slightly flustered manner. I chuckled a little. "Shall we get going now? We wouldn't want to have Mama wait..." He said, reaching down his hand for me to hold onto. I gently grabbed his hand and nodded.

I stared over his outfit as we walked hand in hand. He was wearing a suit that matched mine with a white tie to accent it. His shoes were simple brown dress shoes that somehow worked with his outfit. He wasn't wearing his hat, and he actually had his oddly colored hair pulled back into a thick ponytail.

When he noticed me staring, his cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "Aww, look at you, all flustered like a schoolboy." I said, lightly squeezing his hand. He rubbed the back of his neck. It seemed as though he tried to search for words but he couldn't find them. "Don't worry about it, Peros. It's going to be great, and then, just imagine, we'll finally be a married couple!" I said, rather excited. Well, that just made him blush even deeper.

We both walked onto the platform in complete silence. It was only the two of us and the chess piece guard in front of us. "We're going to start moving, don't fall off." He said, pulling a lever. Perospero chuckled at that notion, then we began to be pulled up towards the top of the cake, where hilariously enough, the two of us were to be married.

We got to the top of the cake, then the chess piece guard saluted Perospero and he stepped back onto the moving platform. "Are you two ready to start the ceremony?" The priest asked us. At this point, everyone was staring at us. We nodded in unison.

The priest began to speak, but Peros didn't seem to notice much of anything. He stared into my eyes, seemingly not aware of the situation at hand. "Do you, Charlotte Perospero, tale LN YN as your wife?" He asked, jumping Peros back into the current situation. "Yes, I do." He said, a little embarrassed he had gotten distracted. "And do you, LN YN, take Charlotte Perospero as your husband?" He asked me. "Yes, I do." I said, smiling wide. "Well then, you may now kiss the bride." He said. The two of us chuckled jokingly, then he leaned down and I kissed his cheek.

"Finally, you're my wife." He said, smiling at me. "Yeah. Finally." I said, gently hugging him in front of everyone.
