This was originally going to be a Caesar Clown one shot but I turned it into Law lol. I have evolved in my lovely writing skills.

I had just been kicked off my Marine ship for mechanics because I didn't know how to fix ships.

I was sent out in a little boat and I floated in the ocean for about three days until I ended up on the strange island I'd soon call my home.

I quickly noticed the lab and came knocking on the door. "Hello~ Is anyone home?" I asked, slapping the door while still trying to keep warm. There was no response. "Hello~ I'm by myself and I've been out here for an hour or so! I have on flip-flops and I'm going to lose a toe to frostbite if I can't come in~" I said in a sing-song voice.

The door cracked open and there stood a relatively tall man in front of me. "Who are you?" He asked, his grey colored eyes staring deep into my soul. "I'm... uh... YN. I washed up here. Who are you?" I asked, returning his threatening tone of voice. "Tch... I'm Trafalgar Law, the warlord. Why would you come here, it's forbidden for anyone to be here." He said, a frown on his face. "Then why are you here?" I asked, glaring at him. He let out a sigh. "Just- Why are you here?" He asked, looking tired of talking to me already. "I got kicked off my mechanic boat because I can't fix ships. I ended up drifting here after three days at sea on a small raft." I said, sighing.

Law looked me up and down. "Although I can tell you're a Marine, you don't seem threatening... and your toes are turning blue. Come on inside, you can stay for a little while." He said, gesturing to the place that seemed slightly more warm.

I followed in right behind Law as he led me down a long hallway. "Wow... this place is a mechanical marvel!" I said, looking at all the technology around me. "It used to be Doctor Vegapunk's lab. That's why there's so much detail put in here." He said, looking around.

Trafalgar and I continued to walk down the corridor until I decided it was too awkward staying in silence and that I would strike up a conversation.

"So is it only you here?" I asked, nudging his arm a little. He gave me a look of discust at the small amount of human contact, then turned his head down. "No, it's not only me here, but you'll probably want to avoid everyone else around here. They're crazy." He said, rubbing his temples. "Well, sounds like it's been fun around here." I said, a small smile on my face. "Definetly not." He said, rather bluntly.

We reached a smaller sized door and Law knocked on it first before entering. After not hearing a response, he opened it up and began to walk in and I came in after him. Inside was a couch, a few bookshelves and a bar. "This your living room?" I asked, gently kicking off my flip-flops that provided no foot protection whatsoever. "Kind of. It's more of a meeting area than a place we do our living." He said in a stern tone of voice. I chuckled a little. "'Where we do our living?' Law, we're always living." I said, stretching out on the couch next to him. "Sure, of course." He said, sarcastically.

We sat together in silence for another few moments until I decided to speak up again. "Do you have any problem with me being here?" I asked, directly facing Trafalgar. "Some, but not as much as I'd like to have." He said bitterly. I let out a small chuckle. "What does that mean?" I asked, a small smile on my face. "You're a Marine, so I have to be on my guard, but you definetly aren't a bad one." He said, not facing me. "Aww thanks Trafalgar. And I think I'm going to put in my resignation. I got kicked off a boat, dude." I said, smirking at Law. He let out a small chuckle. "I agree. It would be wise." He said, a tiny smile gracing his face.
