Naomasa walked through the doors into the U.A. boardroom, interrupting the current meeting. In his hand carried a file containing information that was highly classified and was only to be seen by him and the teachers of U.A. high school. The teachers looked at him, a confused look on their faces. Present Mic, Midnight, Eraserhead, and All Might all looked at him, confused with a slight glimmer of curiosity. Only Principal Nezu did not act confused, instead smiling and running across the table to meet him. "Hello Detective Naomasa. It's very good to see you again. How have you been?"

Naomasa smiled. "I've been good. Thank you for asking. However, if you wouldn't mind," he turned towards the rest of the heroes, looking each of them in the eyes, "there's something I'd like to talk about. Before I continue, I need to ask you something." He started looking through the file, hoping everything looked professional. "Is it true that you require a new member of staff that will help teach the students combat training?" The teachers started slightly. That course of action had only been decided on in the past week and very few people had been told about it. "One of my colleagues can hear people's thoughts," Naomasa explained, "and he happened to be in the audience of the talk show All Might was on 4 nights ago. He heard what you were thinking and privately told me about it."

Principal Nezu was the first to speak up. "That is correct Naomasa. We do intend to hire a new member of staff. Several staff members are unable to attend the school due to injuries from All For One that still haven't healed. Alongside All Might's... condition, we have no choice but to hire new staff." Naomasa nodded, before throwing the file on the table in front of the principal.

"In that case, I have a proposal." Naomasa pulled up a chair and sat down. He was dreading saying these next words. The idea behind it was ludicrous, but if it worked... He shook his head. "I propose," he closed his eyes before looking Nezu directly in the face, "that Izuku Midoriya aka Deku be allowed to teach at U.A. Academy."

Surprisingly, the table was quiet, the teachers stunned at the idea of a villain teaching there. There probably would have been more of an uproar had Vlad King been present, however, he was in the hospital after All For One gave him several broken bones. Naomasa continued before anyone could speak up. "I know it's a crazy idea-"

"Stupid is more like it," Aizawa interrupted, crossing his arms and looking at Naomasa like he was an idiot. "If we let a villain into the school for any reason, they'll cause all sorts of havoc. He could kill the students, or plot with an outside party. It's too dangerous."

"Eraser has got a point, Naomasa", Present Mic continued. "Besides, if we let a villain become a member of staff, the press will have a field day. We'll be seen as dangerous, putting the lives of children into the hands of a criminal who put several of them in the hospital and several Pro Heroes in the morgue."

Naomasa took a breath. "Look, I understand where you're coming from. It is a dangerous idea and could have deadly results. However, if you look through that file, I think you'll find the situation a lot less dangerous." The teachers turned to Nezu who had been reading the file since being given it by Naomasa. Nezu looked up at him and handed him the file. Naomasa took the file, opened it, and began to read from it to the teachers.

Name: Izuku Midoriya

Quirk: N/A

Criminal History: Was active under the Villain Name Deku, committing several acts of violence and conspiring with villainous organizations as well as assisting them in illegal acts. He also served under the Villain Stain, committing acts of violence as well as being an accessory to murder.

Naomasa looked up from reading the file before once more throwing it onto the table. All Might picked it up and began reading it. "As you know," Naomasa began, "approximately two weeks ago the leader of the League of Villains All For One was defeated by All Might. With his defeat, the League has seemingly disbanded, since no criminal activity has been recently connected to them or any of its members. Deku was apprehended by Gran Torino on that date, where he then spent a week in a Class 3 High Priority Containment Cell. One week later, I was permitted to interview him. I brought Deku's mother with me, putting her in the room across the hall where she could view the interrogation. It went swimmingly. He answered my questions with honesty, never wavering from the truth. The reason he was captured wasn't because was overpowered by a hero, he let himself be captured. Because he was bored. Because he was tired of living the life of a villain, and he wanted out. I thanked him for his time and returned to the surveillance room where his mother had been observing the interrogation. She was on the verge of tears, yet nonetheless asked me if she could talk to him on her own. Ordinarily, I would have said no, but he had made it very clear he didn't have any ulterior motives, so I let her see him. At first, nothing. Just a cold, uncaring demeanor was shown toward her. But then she hugged him. And he changed almost immediately. His breaths became ragged, his eyes teared up and his muscles began to spasm. All the trauma of the last two years was being brought to the surface all at once and he couldn't handle it. He hugged his mother back and for the first time, he smiled. Not a smile of happiness or of cunning. Of relief. Unfortunately, it didn't last. After she left, I returned to the room as if nothing had happened. He saw right through me. He told me that if I ever told anyone who she was, he wouldn't hesitate to hunt me down and make my life a hell even Satan would be scared of. Quite the opposite of the Deku who had cried into his mother's arms not two minutes ago. Since then, he was taken to court and would have been given a life sentence, however, due to my compelling evidence of possible rehabilitation, he was sentenced to 10 years of police surveillance and six months of therapy. I believe he can change from being a villain to a useful member of society if he's given the chance, and what better opportunity than teaching at U.A? He'll be able to teach upcoming heroes about the real dangers of the world whilst simultaneously settling into a calmer lifestyle. Besides, even if he does go Deku on us, we have several high-ranking heroes in attendance who can stop him before anything goes too badly."

Naomasa stopped talking. He looked up at the faculty who had all taken a look at the file and all had a look of apprehension on their face. They were considering it. Sure he could teach the students valuable lessons about being a hero, but was the risk of a villain teaching them worth it? Naomasa continued. "If you are still unsure, there is someone I'd like you to meet." He walked back to the door, opening it to reveal a small child. He had black hair and was wearing a white shirt. He approached the table timidly, scared to look any of the heroes in the eye.

"Hi everyone. My name is Kota", the boy said, hesitant to say anything.

Naomasa looked at him. and said, "Kota, can you tell us what happened the night of the attack on the U.A. summer camp." Kota looked nervous, but he swallowed his fear, looked up, and began to tell them what had happened.

"I was walking through the forest surrounding the summer camp. I regularly went there when I needed to be alone or to think to myself. That's what I was doing when I heard some sort of explosion on a nearby mountain. I was curious and went to investigate. I thought I could run away if something happened. I went up the mountain and... I saw this... huge, terrifying THING. It tried to kill me. But Deku saved me, and he brought me back to my aunt. Please don't send him to jail."

Kota stopped talking, looking each of the faculty in the eye before Naomasa ushered him out of the room. "Thank you, Kota." He said, before closing the door and turning to the staff. "I have several other witnesses which can provide evidence that Deku was never truly evil and could be rehabilitated. However, based upon your expressions..." Naomasa paused to look at each staff member, "I think you've made up your mind."

Eventually, Nezu spoke up. "All right. We've had a lot of time to think about it and we all have different thoughts and opinions, so I think the best thing we can do is have a vote and see what the results are. All in favor of letting Izuku Midoriya aka Deku teach the students combat training, please raise your hand." Principal Nezu and Eraserhead raised their hands, followed tentatively by All Might. "3 to 2. I think that clears that up." Principal Nezu declared. "Starting at the end of the summer break, De- I mean Izuku Midoriya will begin teaching at U.A, provided he is kept under surveillance and that he be removed should he attack any of the students for malicious purposes. Do we have an agreement?", Nezu asked, reaching out a paw.

Naomasa smiled, shaking Nezu's hand. "We have an agreement."
