Mirio analyzed the figure before him. He wore a strange outfit, completely black with horizontal red stripes across the front. A mask covered the top half of his face, and red goggles protected his eyes. A scarf similar to Aizawa's hung loosely around his neck.

"Now, let's FIGHT!" the figure cried out as he dashed towards Mirio, body close to the ground and feet blurred against the floor. His mind was so clouded by fear, Mirio barely had time to activate his quirk when the attacker's fist plunged into where his face had been. As Mirio descended through the ground, the attacker kept his guard up, never once allowing his opponent to strike. He suspected he knew where his enemy would come from, as he knew where he would come from if he had that quirk. "I SEE YOUUU!" he cried out as he turned to strike his opponent, who had just emerged from behind him.

You saw me coming, huh, Mirio thought to himself. "Well let's see how you deal with this," he cried, launching a regular fist at his opponent. When he tried to block it, Mirio phased his fist through his opponent, launching two of his fingers toward his opponent's eyes. "Blinding Touch: Eye Poke!" His opponent closed their eyes to protect them, letting their guard down. He launched a sucker punch to his opponent's stomach. It should have been a crippling blow. So when the villain's leg locked the punch, he was surprised, to say the least.

The villain flipped themselves horizontally, flipping Mirio and slamming him into the ground. His mind was too clouded by fear to permeate through the floor and took significant damage from the impact. But only for a moment. He phased through the ground once he recovered from the shock, giving him some time until the next offense.

"IS THIS ALL THE NUMBER 1 STUDENT OF U.A.HAS AGAINST ME?! PATHETIC!" The villain cried out his opinion on the rather underwhelming number 1, hoping this wasn't all U.A. had to offer him.

"Mirio... is losing?" Neijre asked, barely able to mutter her question for none to hear, as Tamaki had passed out as soon as the villain's presence washed over him.

"Aizawa, shouldn't we do something? Todoroki asked, helping his fellow classmates to safety.

"No, let it happen," Aizawa said, checking the defeated students for any serious injuries. "This will be a good test for Mirio, and a good way for you to realize how far you have to come."

Mirio couldn't stay under much longer. He was running out of oxygen and needed to resurface. His mind was foggy from fear. But what to do?

The villain looked around. It had been a while since Mirio had appeared. Where was he? Had he given up? No, not possible. He would never let a villain loose whilst so close to vulnerable students. So what-

That thought was cut short as the hero emerged from the ground, fist extended and aimed at the villain's... "crown jewels". The fist connected and the villain, not expecting such an underhanded move from the number 1 student, physically recoiled from shock. An opportunity now handed to him on a silver platter, Mirio launched another punch at his opponent and landed another hit, a satisfying thud being heard from the villain before he permeated back through the floor. He expected the villain to collapse from fatigue or shock but was met with nothing but a terrifying realization.

"Haahahaha!" The villain laughed. "YOU ARE TRULY IMPRESSIVE, MIRIO TOGATA! YOU OVERCAME MY FEAR AND HAVE LANDED A BLOW EVEN ENDEVOUR WOULD FEEL DISDAIN AT! I APPLAUD YOU, LEMILLION! LET US HOLD NOTHING BACK! WE SHALL FIGHT WITH EVERYTHING WE HAVE! HOLD NOTHING BACK!" Mirio found himself able to think clearly now, presumably because the villain had deactivated his quirk. Now was the time to strike.

Mirio sprung from the earth, letting nothing escape his gaze. The villain turned, a metal baton now in his hands and swinging towards him. Where did that come from? Mirio thought. No time, must dodge! He permeated through the baton and pulled his fist back for a punch, solidifying it in the process. But before he could swing it, the villain kicked it aside, using the momentum from the previous swing to amplify the strike. His hand injured, Mirio tried to retreat but the villain was having none of it. He kept the pressure on, launching a constant barrage of attacks. The baton, his feet, his fists; anything that could be a weapon was a weapon. He even grabbed some of the dirt from the ground at threw it in Mirio's face, blinding him for a few moments. Just enough time to get a kick in the ribs. This continued for several minutes, never even taking an opportunity to breathe. He just kept attacking.
