Inko Midoriya had done a complete 180. A week ago, she had been an emotional wreck, barely going outside, eating ice cream, and cutting off all contact with the outside world. She had no intention of stopping either. But now, she was the exact opposite. She regularly went out for walks or to spend time with the neighbors and was getting back into her old eating habits (she had gained a couple of pounds from the ice cream). She was preparing for tea when her doorbell rang. She didn't know who it was; she hadn't organized a meeting or event. She went to the door and who should stand there but Naomasa and All Might. The people she held accountable for her son's safety. She opened the door and immediately invited them in for tea, coffee, etc. They sat down and made small talk for a while before Naomasa coughed and brought everyone's attention to the issue at hand.
"All right. Ms. Midoriya, I've called round because we have something we want to tell you." Naomasa began.
"We figured you be the first to know since you are his mother", All Might continued, shifting nervously in his seat.
"You see Ms. Midoriya, we have decided to let Izuku join U.A. High as one of the teaching staff.
Inko was understandably confused, replying with only a confused "Huh?" Naomasa and All Might explained the situation, explaining how Naomasa had put forward the idea and the proceedings of the meeting it was decided. After they had finished, they asked if she would allow her son to do this, since she would know what's best for him if anyone would. She contemplated this for a while, closing her eyes and thinking about what is best for her son and the rest of Japan. Eventually, she opened her eyes.
"I think Izuku joining U.A. is a wonderful idea. Not only does he get to experience the school environment he missed, but he gets to teach the heroes of the future about villains they will face via first-hand experience. It's a win-win for everyone."
Glad that she agreed with them, Naomasa and All Might thanked her for granting this opportunity before making a swift retreat back to U.A.
Several Months Later...
It was the first day back and Aizawa was already biting their heads off.
"Alright this is important so listen up!" he yelled, grabbing everyone's attention.
"Yaoyorozu, Tenya, Ururaka and Kirishima. On the night of the attack on the League's hideout, you all went to save Bakugo, correct?" He looked each one in the eye, as well as the eyes of the rest of his students. Their silence spoke volumes.
"Judging by your expressions, I can see that several more of you were aware of this plan and that you knew full well what they planned to do. Under normal circumstances, you would all be expelled, however, given the current circumstances, we cannot afford to. However, that doesn't change the fact that I can no longer trust you. You're going to have to rebuild that trust. Understand?" All of them nodded their heads in silence.
Aizawa sighed. "Head to Class 1-A. There's someone I'd like you to meet." All of the students followed him, quietly chattering about who they would meet. As they walked through the door, they were greeted by a new, yet familiar face to some. The person was shorter than average with green hair and eyes, and wore a white dress shirt with a black vest and tie, alongside formal dress shoes and black pants.
"Hello everyone." He began, his voice deadpan and his face devoid of expression. "My name is Izuku Midoriya, you may call me Mr. Deku, and for the next unspecified amount of time, I will be teaching you about villains. Specifically how to fight them, the different types, and how dangerous they are. Thank you for giving me this opportunity." He bowed to them, seeming more bored than excited.
"DEKU!?" Bakugo roared, his palms involuntarily exploding from anger.
Tenya Iida also recognized him. He raised his hand, hoping that Deku would notice.
