eddie finally breaks the silence

"Do you want to smoke and then go inside?"

i smile at him and stand up in the hot tub, my shirt now clinging to my body and eddie notices. he pushes his tongue against his cheek and admires my body, not letting go of my hand

"Perfection."

he says lightly under his breath. i step out of the hot tub now, handing him a towel from the chair. he gets out and wraps it around himself before pulling me close and kissing me softly. it was passionate. something i haven't felt in a while. i kissed him back putting my hand on his chest. he pulled away shortly after, kissing my forehead before looking at me.

he falls asleep soon after, still holding me close.
