eddie gets up like he says and starts making dinner for us. living with him has to be the best thing i've ever experienced, other than him just being my boyfriend. i get up and walk to the kitchen. he's cooking something on the stove and i go up behind him and wrap my arms around him and kiss his back. he chuckles a little bit

"Hey gorgeous"

i smile

"Hi handsome. You need any help?"

he turns around and wraps his arms around me and smiles

"I don't princess but thank you. Just relax for a bit and I'll be done shortly"

he kisses my forehead and i lean against him. i listen to his heart beat for a second and put my forehead on his chest

"I love you"

"I love you more sweetheart"

he rubs my back and kisses the top of my head

"Okay, can't let dinner burn. I'll let you know when it's done alright?"

i nod and let go of him before going back to sit down on the couch. i turn around to watch him in the kitchen as he cooks. he goes back from the stove to the counter top, cutting some stuff up. he smiles to himself as he plates the food and grabs some cups from the cupboard

"What do you want to drink doll?"

"Waters fine thank you"

i smile and he nods before filling both cups up with water. he sets the plates on the table and the cups soon after

"It's ready"

i stand up and walk over to the table, sitting down. he kisses the top of my head before sitting down next to me.

"So here we have some chicken, mashed potatoes, and asparagus. I made the chicken how my uncle does so, I hope you like it"

he smiles and looks very proud of himself

"I'm sure it'll be amazing love"

i take a bite of the chicken and my eyes widen. i cover my mouth

"Holy shit this is amazing"

his face lights up

"I'm so glad you like it. I've been waiting to make it for you for a while"

"Well it's amazing. Thank you"

"Of course"

he smiles before he starts eating. we continue eating as we talk about some stuff and talk about what we're gonna do for the week. we have school but i hate that shit. i cannot wait for graduation

"So Eddie, seriously, anything you want to do for your birthday that isn't me"

he thinks about it for a second and shakes his head no

"I cant think of anything else I want more than that"

"Okay okay well, you're going to get that but what else?"

"As long as I spend it with you, I don't mind what we do sweetheart. Surprise me"

i smile

"Okay fine. I'll make sure you have the best birthday ever"

he smiles and finishes eating. he gets up and takes his plate and cup to the sink. i finish mine and go to get up when he basically runs back to the table and grabs my plate and cup, winking at me and taking mine to the sink also.
