dinner

a/n: no smut and a really short chapter. sorry lol

eddie woke up from the nap before i did. i woke up about 30 minutes after he did and he was still holding me, staying still. i look at him and smile.

"Hi princess"

"Hi love"

he smiles and kisses my forehead.

"I'm going to the store to get a couple things for dinner later. It's a surprise so, you gotta stay home. I'll be quick"

i nod and squeeze him tightly before he gets up and puts his shoes on. he kisses me softly and says bye before leaving. i lay there for a little while before finally getting up and changing into something more comfortable. i clean up our room and then sit on the bed wondering what to do now. i start playing with my new guitar necklace. i get an idea and get up to grab eddie's guitar. i sit back on the bed and start playing Sex on Fire since it's the only song i know.

i played it once and then started to play random strings. i start trying to do the beat to happy birthday but i couldn't really get it. after what seemed like forever of trying i started playing Sex on Fire again. i got into it and started singing along to it quietly. after i finished i smiled and looked up, seeing eddie in the doorway. i jumped a little cause it kinda scared me. he was just smiling, leaning against the door frame. i set the guitar on the bed and he walked over to me. 

"I didn't know you were home. You scared me"

"That was really good princess. And your singing voice, absolutely amazing"

i smile and feel my face get red. no one's heard me sing in years and eddie didn't even know it used to be a hobby of mine. my parents always thought it was stupid so i eventually quit

"Thank you"

he smiles

"I'm gonna get started on dinner for you so, stay in here until it's finished"

i smile and hold out my arms. he wraps his arms around me and i wrap mine around him. we kiss for a little while before he pulls away

"How long is it gonna take?"

"Hmmm, 30 minutes maybe?"

i nod and he gives me one more short kiss before going out to the kitchen and started dinner. i put his guitar away and then sat back on the bed, watching tiktok until he finally called me. i went to the kitchen and sat at the table. he put a plate of alfredo on my plate, my favorite food. i smile at him and he smiles back before grabbing his plate and sitting with me.

"Let me know if it's good"

i take a bite and swallow it.

"It's amazing. Thank you so much handsome"

he smiles and winks before taking a bite of his own. he nods and then we keep eating, talking throughout the meal. after dinner we go outside and smoke a couple joints in the hot tub, relaxing after a great day. happy birthday to me.
