a/n: no smut

like i said, i've been thinking about asking him the question soon. i don't know what his response is going to be and i'm nervous.. he's at school right now and im obviously still suspended so, i decided to do some cleaning. i cleaned out half of my closet, putting clothes in a bag to take to the goodwill later. i unpacked a new set of hangers and hung them in the closet. i cleaned up my room in general. after finishing up, i pick up my phone and see a text notification

'from eddie<3'

"e: Stopping by my house after school to get more clothes. Wont be long. I love you!"

"y: Okay see you soon. I love you too"

i set my phone down and move on to cleaning my living room and kitchen, just making it look nicer. i smoked a joint before hopping in the shower. i got out and threw on some shorts with one of eddie's shirts on. i sat there and waited for him to come home. he texted me again saying he was on his way and i was so excited already. i felt myself getting more and more nervous. i got up and put a record into my record player and then sit back on my bed. i hear the front door open and shut, my stomach dropping

"Sweetheart i'm hereeee!"

eddie yells from the living room in a sing songy voice. he walks into the room and smiles. he comes over and sits on the bed next to me. i smile and hold his hand, now looking really serious at him. his smile slowly fades and his face turns into a confused one.

"Is something wrong doll?"

"No no nothings wrong i just wanted to.. Um, ask you something"

i grip his hand tighter and take a deep breath

"You know how you've been spending a lot of time here and you just have to keep going and going to get clothes. I feel like it's just really inconvenient so. Eddie i was wondering if you.. wanted to move in with me. Like, officially.."

i hold my breath after asking, waiting for a response. he stays silent, looking down at the floor. i feel my heart beating faster and i scoot closer.

"Eddie?"

he looks at me again

"I.. don't even know what to say."

i feel panic wash over me. my grip on his hand loosens.

"It would make me the happiest man in the world to move in with you baby."

i sigh and hit his arm softly

"God don't do that to me i almost cried. Jesus."

i grip his hand tightly again and smile. he smiles back and leans in. i break the space between us and place a soft kiss on his lips. it's official.. eddie's moving in with me!!
