a/n: no smut

eddie and i have been enjoying each other for the past couple of days. in our own little world now. just us. it's honestly amazing. sucky when he has to go to school though. today was friday so, i get to go back on monday and now he doesn't have to leave me anymore. steve told eddie about a party happening tonight and asked if we wanted to go. of course we wanted to so i started getting ready early.

eddie was already done, relaxing on the bed as i was trying to pick out an outfit. at one point it just became too much for me. all the thoughts about the first party i ever went to started running through my head. i sat on the floor quickly. letting out a loud groan into my hands, trying not to cry. eddie noticed and got on the floor next to me

"Hey hey what's wrong? Talk to me princess"

he put his hand on my shoulder and rubbed it softly. i felt the tears coming out and i didn't want to look at him. i hate crying in front of people, especially eddie. i keep my face buried into my hands

"I keep thinking about the party thing i told you about. I'm just overthinking i'm sorry."

he takes my hands from my face slowly and turns me to look at him. he places his hands on my face and wipes my cheeks with his thumbs.

"Princess i promise you it'll all be okay. I will never look at any other girl the way I look at you. I love you. And do not ever say sorry for expressing your feelings okay?"

i smile and he does too. he leans in and places a soft kiss on my forehead before standing up and going through my closet. he skims through the hangers and eventually pulls off a black and red dress. he holds it up and smiles. i look up at him

"How about this one? I bet you look absolutely stunning in it."

i smile and stand up, taking the dress from him. I lean up and kiss him softly. he kisses back and goes deeper into it. we stay like that for a while, softly kissing. i eventually pull away and look up at him.

"I don't know what i'd do without you. I love you too."

i hug him tightly and he hugs me back. he pulls away and signals to the dress on the bed, smiling. i smile back and turn around and start taking off my clothes

"Gorgeous."

eddie whispers under his breath. i smile and put the dress on, backing up to eddie to signal to him to zip it up and he does. i turn to him and he looks me up and down

"Give me a spin"

i do just that and spin for him slowly but not too slow

"You are going to be the most beautiful girl there y/n i swear it."

"Thank you love.. We have to leave in an hour and a half so, i need to do my makeup. What shoes should i wear?"

he turns back to the closet and looks through my shoes. he picks out a pair of black heels with red accents.

"These look perfect don't you think?"

"I'm gonna have you pick out my outfits from now on. Perfect match"

i slip the shoes on and smile before walking over to my desk and sit down and get started on my makeup.

*time skip*

i finish and i get a small purse just to keep certain things in there. i also grab a sweater before walking out to the living room where eddie is waiting, watching tv. he hears my heels and whips his head in my direction. he turns off the tv and stands up, walking to me. he puts his hands on my waist and pulls me in. my arms wrap around his neck and he kisses me softly. i wrap my arms around him tighter, sinking deeper into the kiss. he pulls away and rubs our noses together and smiles

"You ready?"

"No but, as long as i'm with you i'll be okay"

i smile and he holds my hand, leading me to the front door and he opens it for me. i walk out and he does too, shutting the door behind him. we get into his van and start driving to the party. im beyond nervous but, i'll be okay. he's here.
