trip(pt1)

a/n: no smut. use of a drug other than weed

for the rest of our 3 months eddie and i just sat around the house and hung out. it eventually got late and we eventually went to sleep. it was the next morning and i was so tired. i slept in until 12 and eddie was up so much earlier. i woke up and moved around. i grab my phone and check the time. i set the phone down and rub my eyes before getting up and walking to the living room. eddie's sitting on the couch, drinking coffee as he watches tv. he looks at me and smiles

"Good afternoon sweetheart"

"Good afternoon"

i say tiredly. he chuckles

"There's some coffee still in the pot. It's still pretty fresh"

i smile and nod before walking into the kitchen and fixing myself a cup of coffee. i sit on the couch next to eddie and he wraps his arm around me, pulling me in to him. he rubs my arm and kisses my forehead

"How did you sleep?"

"I slept good. How did you sleep love"

"I slept good too. I've been awake for like, an hour"

i smile

"Not too long. What should we do today?"

"Oh yeah steve texted me today and asked if we wanted to do shrooms with him and robin"

my eyes widen

"They want to do shrooms?"

he nods

"Yeah it's crazy right"

"Seriously. But when and where"

he grabs his phone and shows me the text

*text from steve*

"s: 3:30, my house?"

i look at eddie

"Yeah that sounds good"

"Okay i was waiting for you to wake up to respond to him"

he responds and sets his phone down. since i woke up late 3 isn't too far away. we sit there and finish our coffee before taking a quick shower together. we get out and get our clothes on. i do my makeup and then blow dry and style my hair. after finishing up we smoke a little. we roll a couple joints for steve's house and then get our shoes on to leave. we get in the car and head over to steve's. eddie places his hand on my thigh the whole ride to steve's. we get there and knock on steve's door

steve opens it and smiles

"s: Hey guys. Come in"

he moves out of the way and eddie and i walk inside. i see robin sitting on the couch talking to a girl i've never seen before. she has curly brown hair and is dressed very sophisticated. we walk into the living room and robin looks at us

"r: Hey y/n! Hi eddie"

"y: Hey robin"

i look at the other girl

"y: Hi i'm y/n, eddie's girlfriend. I don't think we've met"

"n: We haven't. I'm Nancy Wheeler"

"y: Nice to meet you"

i look at steve

"s: I figured she could like, trip sit us or something. Shes not gonna do them"

i look at eddie and he looks at me

"y: Yeah that works"

i look back at the others in front of me and we all sit down in the living room now. steve pulls out the bag of shrooms and sets them on the table. he looks at me and eddie

"s: Do you guys um.. know how much to take?"

i grab the bag and open it before taking about the same amount as the first time i took them. eddie grabbed the same amount and passed the bag to steve. i put out my hand and steve and robin looked. steve grabbed his first then passed it to robin. we all put them in our mouths at the same time and chewed them. nancy just watched as we had disgusted looks on our faces. steve gave us water bottles and we all chugged them, trying to wash the flavor out. we swallowed everything and then looked at each other

"e: Now we wait 30 to 45 minutes for them to kick in"

robin and steve nod. i pull the joint containers out of my pocket

"y: Should we go outside and smoke while we wait?"

"r: Yes"

"s: Sure"

"e: Obviously"

"n: I'll pass."

i shrug at nancy's response before getting up. eddie gets up and so do robin and steve. we go to his back yard and i light the joint, taking a few hits before passing it to eddie. he passes it to steve who passes it to robin. we keep that rotation going and robin and steve actually smoke a lot. they finish the joint with us with that exact rotation. after it was finished we went back inside and waited.
