a/n: no smut

i open my front door and eddie is standing there dressed very nice with a bouquet of flowers. they aren't just any normal flowers, they're dried out roses. i look up at him and smile. he's just staring at me with a look of absolute awe.

"What? Do i have something on my face?"

i ask jokingly. he snaps out of his trance and smiles

"No no no, you just look absolutely stunning princess. Like you're always stunning but right now is just.. wow."

"Thank you. Tried to dress nicely as you said"

he smiles again and hands me the flowers.

"They're dried cause um, they'll last longer and i want you to have them for a while unlike normal ones that'll die quickly."

i take them, smiling up at him. i set them on the table next to the front door before wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him close. his hands wrap around my waist, gripping tightly.

"That's the nicest thing anyone has ever given me. Thank you so much Eddie."

i put my head up and connect our lips. he kisses me gently, his hands snaking under my dress and gripping my ass tightly. i gasp and pull away from the kiss to see eddie smirking.

"You're so very welcome."

he bites his bottom lip and pulls his hands from under the dress, fixing it to make sure my asscheeks aren't hanging out

"I can't wait to see this dress on the floor later sweetheart."

"And that is something you can definitely count on. But, where are we going love?"

"Oh yes i almost forgot! Let's go"

he pulls me out my door quickly and i shut the door behind me. we get into his van and start driving. he rests his hand on my thigh the whole time, rubbing my skin with his thumb softly. we're going to a part of hawkins i haven't seen before. i look out the window and just take it all in. we stop shortly after at a nice restaurant. i look over at eddie who's already looking at me, smiling

"Welcome to our first OFFICIAL date princess"

he says excitedly. i look at the restaurant then back at him smiling

"Oh my gosh. I'm so excited!"

he squeezes my thigh before getting out of the car, walking over to my side, and opens the door for me. i grab his hand and step out of the car. we walk inside of the restaurant and get seated. we hold hands over the table and make small talk.

"This is such a nice place Eddie. I love the decorations."

"I'm more focused on something else. Like seriously doll i cannot even wrap my head around how gorgeous you are. Always."

he squeezes my hand tightly and smiles. the waiter walks over and asks if we want anything to drink. i order a sweet tea and eddie orders a coke. while looking at the menu, we talk about what food we're thinking of getting and what looks good to us. after a while i decide on fettuccine alfredo and he decides on spaghetti. the waiter comes back with our drinks and takes our order.

"I can't wait. Fettuccine alfredo is my favorite food hands down"

"Noted"

i smile and hold his hand again. we just stare at each other, admiring. our smiles grow as we stare at each other in silence. i lift my foot under the table and brush up his leg with it, still making eye contact. he pushes his tongue against his cheek and leans in a little

"You better behave princess."

my stomach flips and i quickly put my foot back down. god this man has such an effect on me. he smirks and leans back in his chair again. the waiter brings our food and tells us to enjoy before walking away. we start eating and have small talk. after about 30 minutes we finish. we wait for the waiter to bring the check and he does. i reach for my purse

"Hey! No. I'm paying. I'm taking you on this date so let me pay please"

eddie begs. i roll my eyes and stop reaching. he smiles and takes his wallet out, putting money into the little book. the waiter grabs it and walks away before bringing it back. eddie leaves a tip and stands up, putting his hand out for me to grab. i take it and we lock hands, walking out of the restaurant. we get back into his van and he starts driving.
