school(pt2)

a/n: no smut

we walk out the door and he doesn't let go of my hand. i look up at him as we walk and simply admire. he truly has such nice features. i look back down to our hands. are we about to walk in holding hands or is he gonna let go? we'll see.

"So i have um. A question"

eddie says, squeezing my hand a little tighter.

"What is it?"

"I was wondering if you'd want to maybe, you know, go on a date with me?"

i smile and feel my face getting hot

"I would love to go on a date with you"

i look back up at him and he lets out a sigh of relief and smiles. we get to the cafeteria door and walk inside. he looks around for his friends and i look around, seeing all the unfamiliar faces. he eventually spots them and leads me over to them, still holding my hand. we get to the table and he sits. i stay standing.

"Eddie who's this?"

a boy with curly hair and a hat on says, looking at me confused. eddie looks over to me and then back at the boy.

"Dustin, this is y/n"

dustin. interesting. i smile at him

"Nice to meet you dustin"

"Yeah yeah you too. Are you joining hellfire or are you here to steal eddie"

"I'm joining hellfire. I want one of those sick t-shirt's"

eddie smiles and looks up at me

"Are you going to sit down?"

he asks confused. i look around at the table and back at him

"There's nowhere to sit"

he scoots over a little and pats his lap, signaling for me to sit. i roll my eyes slightly before putting my legs under the table and sitting on his lap. his hand lands on my thigh and his chin is on my shoulder. i look at him and smile, eyes not leaving his. he turns away and looks at the other boy at the table.

"Some of my other friends aren't here but, this is Mike"

"Hi mike, nice to meet you"

i say looking at the second boy at the table. he looks at me, still visibly confused and speaks quickly without much interest

"Hi"

"So who even are you and why is this my first time seeing you?"

dustin says quickly. eddie's eyes snap over to him

"What? I'm just asking"

"She's my.. friend. And she just moved here"

friend, interesting

*time skip*

the lunch bell rings and i get off of eddie quickly before walking off. i walk out of the cafeteria and grab my phone. i accidentally bump into someone and look up, making eye contact with a girl. shoulder length hair, blue eyes.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't looking where i was going i was trying to find my friend and i just-"

"Hey it's okay i wasnt looking where i was going either"

i cut her off since it wasn't that big of a deal. she smiles and squints her eyes slightly

"I've never seen you before. Are you new here?"

"Yeah i am actually. My names y/n by the way"

i smile back at her and hear a door open and close behind me

"I'm robin"

i hear eddie's voice saying my name, sounding a bit concerned but i don't turn around. i need friends. i want friends. this girl seems pretty nice.

"It's nice to meet you. Since im new here i need more friends. Mind if i get your number and we can maybe hang sometime?"

"Oh. Yeah for sure"

i hand her my phone and she starts typing it in. i smile at her before she waves and walks away. i feel someone's hands on my shoulders before being turned. i look up at to see eddie

"Why did you leave like that? Did something happen?"

"Oh no i just have to go home and um, clean my house"

i smile. he raises his eyebrow slightly before speaking

"Okay.. Can i at least give you a ride home?"

"Gladly. Let's go"

i grab his hand and we walk out of the school to his van. he opens the door for me and i get in. he drops me at my house, giving me a small kiss before i get out, hearing his van pull away behind me
