official(pt1)

a/n: sorry for not uploading until this late, away from home right now! also, i realize i never write them at school but, whatever lollllll. and no smut

eddie's pov: me and y/n haven't been on a real official date yet. yes we had the one at her house but, i want to take her out. i want to show her off to absolutely everyone around me. she's the most perfect thing in my life and i want her to be happy. therefore, im going to surprise her with a real date, at a real place. i hope she likes it. after leaving dustin's, we had our own evening together doing whatever and went to bed. my surprise date is tonight. a new day to make my princess happy.

your pov: i woke up next to eddie, as i do most days. he's the most perfect thing ever. now that i have him, i cant imagine being without him. he woke up before me, greeting me with kisses as soon as i wake up.

"I have to go home for a little bit today princess"

i put my bottom lip out. he laughs and kisses me softly.

"Why are you leaving me"

"Trust me doll, I don't want to be away from you at all but, I have to."

"When"

"A couple of hours probably, I want to be with you for a little while"

i cuddle into him and he holds me close, not letting his grip loosen one bit. he kisses my forehead gently, rubbing my back with his thumb.

"Why are you going home though love?"

i look up at him after asking the question and he looks at me

"Just want to clean up a bit and just regroup, get some more clothes"

my face lights up after he says the thing about clothes, having an idea but being too nervous to ask him. i let my face drop again, hoping he didn't notice.. he noticed.

"What? You were going to say something. Come on princess don't be afraid to ask"

"I was just going to helpfully suggest that you should just bring some clothes here.. You know, just to have."

he smiles and pulls me back in tightly.

"You know, that's a great idea. I will definitely do that"

i smile and just hold him, taking in this moment. we mostly lay around the house and talk, not doing much in the few hours eddie's going to be here still. after a while, he tells me he has to go. he gets everything he needs, kisses me all over my face quickly before kissing my lips passionately. he leaves and i decide to shower. i do that quickly, throwing on some pjs afterwards. i pick up my phone which was charging in my room and see a text

(texts)

"e: I'm picking you up at 7 doll. Dress nicely and be ready :)"

i was confused, but obviously i was going to listen.

"y: I'll be ready love. Wonder what you have up your sleeve."

i text back

"e: ;)"

i smile before setting my phone down and start getting ready. i throw on a black dress, mid thigh length. i do my makeup real nice, doing eyeliner for the first time in a while. around 6:55, i throw on my shoes, some black platform heels. so glad eddie's so much taller than me so i can wear heels around him. i pick out a cute little coverup and spray some perfume, pack my purse with stuff i need and head to the living room to wait. at exactly 7 on the dot

"e: Are you ready for a night you'll never forget? Here."
