a/n: no smut

back to your pov: we get finished with lunch and drive back to the house. on the way there eddie cannot stop smiling. i don't know at what but, he seems to be excited for something. we smoked a joint on the way home and eventually get there. we finish the joint and eddie pulls out his phone, typing something short and sending it. i look at him and he looks at me smiling.

"Let's go"

we get out of the van and walk up to the door. he stops me as i'm about to open it and looks down at me.

"Close your eyes"

i raise my eyebrow

"Why"

he pouts his lip out

"Please"

i close my eyes and he grabs my hand. i hear the door open and we walk in. he shuts it behind us

"Okay open"

i open my eyes and i see all of our/his friends

"all: Surprise!"

i smile

"Thank you all so much!"

i look around and see the house decorated. i see presents on the table and candles on the counter. i look at eddie and he's already looking at me, scanning my face

"Did you plan this?"

he smiles and nods

"Yes i did"

i look back at everyone

i look at two people i haven't seen before.

"y: Hey i don't think i've met you guys. I'm y/n, eddie's girlfriend"

they both smile at me

"max: I'm max nice to meet you"

"l: And i'm lucas"

"y: Nice to meet you guys too"

"r: Sooo are you going to open the presents or not?"

i look at her and smile.

"y: Duh, let's do it"

i sit down at the table and everyone crowds around me. eddie stand behind me with his hand on my shoulder, rubbing it gently. i open dustin's first and it's a shirt that says 'i ❤️ my bf'. i look at him and smile

"y: Wow, very thoughtful of you. Going to be wearing this all the time now"

he smiles back and nods. i move on to robins and steve's combined gift. it's a brand new gorgeous black bong. my mouth drops open

"y: This is gorgeous oh my god! Thank you guys"

"r: Of course"

max and lucas even brought presents. none from mike but he seemed like he didn't wanna be there anyway. max got me a beaded necklace with a guitar charm on it. it's black, red, and silver beads

"y: This is so cool! Did you make this?"

"max: Yeah i did. It's a hobby of mine"

"y: I'm going to put it on right now"

i hand it to eddie and he puts it on for me, can't with my nails. i look down at it and smile. i open lucas's next and it's a pair of socks. weed socks to be exact

"l: I didn't know if you smoked or not but robin and steve's gift confirmed it"

"y: Well thank you. I love socks"

he smiles and i open eddie's gift last. it's in a really big bag. i pull it out and there's a small framed picture of us in it. i keep going and there's new lashes, perfume, clothes, and something i saw but didn't pull out of the bag was a pair of fluffy red handcuffs. i look up at him and he smirks. i pull out the last 'kid' appropriate thing which is a new metallica poster

"y: Thank you all so much for the gifts. I appreciate each and every thing"

i smile at everyone. eddie helps me put all the gifts away and throw away the trash. we all hang out at the house. just talking and eventually we ate cake and sang happy birthday. it was truly and unforgettable night and i'll always appreciate eddie for this
