grocery store

a/n: no smut

after waking up i decided we should skip school all together today to do some stuff. we had to go to the store and get some things, then shopping for some new clothes. our main priority today is the grocery store. i wake up first, looking over at eddie. i smile as i turn on my side. i slide my hand over his torso, scratching lightly. he starts shifting before eventually opening his eyes, looking at me. he smiles

"Good morning princess"

he says in a groggy voice, now stretching his arms out. i smile as he wraps his arm around me, pulling me close. i wrap my arm around his neck

"Good morning handsome"

he leans in and buries his head in my neck, groaning into it.

"God i just wanna sleep forever"

i laugh a bit, scratching his back gently. i feel him relax into me

"I was thinking we could skip school today and just go shopping. What do you think?"

he hums and i feel it vibrate against my stomach

"Yeah let's do it. Can i sleep a little longer at least?"

"Of course you can. I'm gonna go shower"

he nods and i kiss the top of his head before sliding out of his arms. i get off the bed and walk to the bathroom. i look in the mirror and look at my lip. you can tell where eddie bit me definitely. i smile to myself before turning on the shower and taking off my clothes. i scroll through my phone while waiting for it to heat up. i finally set it down and get in the shower. i wash my hair and body quickly. i let the water run on me for a little while before hearing the door open. i look out to see eddie. he looks at me

"I just have to pee"

i nod and put my head back into the shower, finishing what i was doing. he finishes up and opens the curtain, peeking inside. i look at him and smile as he looks me up and down

"Luckiest man ever"

he says as he smiles, pulling his head out of the shower. i smile and hear the door open and shut. i get my towel and get out before walking into the room. eddie's laying under the covers scrolling on his phone, still looking half asleep. i go to the closet and pick out my clothes and set them on the bed. i grab underwear and a bra and throw them on the bed. i take off the towel and walk to the bed.

eddie's eyes immediately leave his phone and look at me, watching my every move. i don't notice at first. i put on my underwear and my bra quickly. as i adjust the bra i look at eddie and smile

"What?"

"You're just so pretty sweetheart. Besides, it's all mine why can't i stare"

he smirks and i feel my face get hot. i love when he makes me nervous

*time skip to them leaving*

we get into his van and light a joint, as we do every single time we drive. i smile at eddie as i pass it to him. he takes it and smiles before hitting it. we pass it back and forth while listening to music, driving to the store. we get there and ash the joint out before getting out. we lock hands and walk into the store. i grab a cart

"Okay so, let's get everything on the list then we can get snacks at stuff"

eddie smiles and nods

"Yes ma'am"

i smile and he wraps his arm around my waist as we walk around. we grab everything we need, making sure we don't miss anything. eddie kisses my forehead and takes his hand away from my waist

"Gonna go get some beer"

i smile and nod

"Okay"

he walks away and goes to the alcohol isle. i grab the stuff i want and then find eddie. i notice him talking to someone and i walk closer, not letting him see me. i notice that it's a girl. i get curious and walk over, not to him but close enough to listen in slightly.

(e: eddie, g: girl, y: you)

"e: Yeah I'm here shopping with my girlfriend so, she should be back any minute"

"g: Text me for old times sake will you?"

i notice her demeanor change after she says this, almost trying to flirt. i feel my fist clench as eddie laughs.

"e: Absolutely not. I love my girlfriend and what we had is over and never will be anything again."

she scoffs and looks behind eddie as i start walking closer. she makes eye contact with me and eddie turns to look at me. i don't look at him, just at her, walking up to eddie and wrapping my arm under his.

"y: I'm back love, who's your little friend?"

she looks upset at this point. i look up at eddie and he looks at her, then back at me

"e: She's no one"

i raise my eyebrow as he says this. i look back at her then put my stuff into our cart and let go of eddie. i hold my hand out

"y: Keys please"

he swallows and hesitates before reaching into his pocket and handing me the keys. i walk away towards the van and finally make it to it. i unlock it and sit in the car, waiting for him to come out and explain why the fuck he's being secretive. i wait for about 5 minutes before i see him walking out with some bags. he opens the back door and sets the groceries down. he gets in the car and i hand him his keys, not saying anything. he sighs and starts the van. he doesn't leave yet tho.

"What is it sweetheart?"

he asks, a hint of concern in his voice. i don't look at him and cross my arms, looking out the window.

"I want to go home."

i say. i see him nod out of the corner of my eye and he finally puts the car in drive, pulling out of the parking lot and heading back home.
