Nine months later:

A little blue bird landed on the roof tiles, when Qi Xiaotian head appeared at the top with a gasp, the little monkey then lifted the rest of his body onto the roof, when he was sitting on the roof he looks up and his eyes sparkled and let out a chirp. In front of him was the most amazing view he has ever seen, with a big crystal lake and trees that had millions of flowers on them. Qi Xiaotian eyes turned into stars as he chirps excitedly, his tail wagging in excitement not knowing that two big hands appeared from behind and gently picked him up by the waist "Xiaotian, get down" Macaque said picking his cub up and lowering himself down with his tail " looking at the view, huh. It's a nice scene alright, Though you're still too small, you're gonna have to stay close to me when you're older" Macaque said placing Qi Xiaotian in his arms

"But until then, I'll keep you safe, I promise" Macaque said placing a kiss on Qi Xiaotians head earning a giggle and a chirp "now that I got you, let's get you back into the bath" Macaque said walking back to the house with Qi Xiaotian in his arms. Once Qi Xiaotian was cleaned Macaque brushed Qi Xiaotians fur and dressed him in a orang and red hanfu and tickled his stomach getting a giggle out of the little monkey "there we go, all dressed up for your 100th day" Macaque said smiling as he picks up Qi Xiaotian in the air. His ears twitched when he heard the sound of wind blowing "sounds like your aunt Iron Fan and Red Boy are here, what do you say we go out and greet them" Macaque said and Qi Xiaotian giggled and chirped in response "alright, let's go!" Macaque said and headed to with his cub in his arms

(From what I gathered, 100th is 1 year birthday in mortal terms)

As Macaque enters the courtyard Qi Xiaotians eyes widened when he saw Red Boy with Iron Fan and immediately jumped out of his mother's arms and runs towards Red Boy "Xiaotian!" Red Boy said running up to the now one year old monkey, the two embraced with their tails wagging "happy 100th Xiaotian!" Red Boy said smiling at Qi Xiaotian, the little monkey chirps and smiles at his friend "look, I got you a gift" Red Boy said placing Qi Xiaotian down and pulls out a small wooden box. Qi Xiaotian chirped in curiosity wondering what's inside the box, Red Boy opens the box and inside were two yin and yang pendant necklaces "see, one for you, and one for me so we can both wear them" Red Boy said picking up the yang pendant and placing it on Qi Xiaotians neck, Qi Xiaotian looked at the pendant on his neck then back to Red Boy who was putting on the yin pendant "now we can be together forever" Red Boy said smiling, Qi Xiaotian smiled and chirped happily

"Red Boy, Xiaotian, come inside!" Macaque called out "come on, let's show Shūshu!" Red Boy said picking up Qi Xiaotian and running into the house

It was night when the party was finished, Princess Iron Fan left with a sleeping Red Boy in her arms while Macaque was holding a sleepy Qi Xiaotian in his arms "you had such a busy day today, but now it's time for sleep" Macaque said carrying his cub to bed "ma" a small voice said making Macaque stop in his tracks, he looks down at Qi Xiaotian with wide eyes as Qi Xiaotian looked up at him with tired eyes "w-what...did you say?" Macaque asked hoping that his six ears weren't playing a trick on him "ma" Qi Xiaotian said rubbing his eyes and letting out a yawn. Tears filled Macaques eyes and hugs his cub tightly with a smile hearing his cub's first words
