MK sat down on the ground panting after sparring with Monkey King "not bad kid, your getting real better a this" Monkey King said crossing his arms with a smirk "really?" MK asked smiling at his mentor "yeah, C'mon let's take a break" Monkey King said leading the teen back to his house. As they reached the house MK was swarmed by the young monkeys and began to poke and groom his hair "h-hey guys, knock it off!" MK said laughing as a young monkey began tickling him, all of them chirping and hooting excitedly at the teen "Monkey King, help!" The teen called out through his laughter "alright, alright that's enough torment for my successor, go on back to your mothers" Monkey King said gently prying the young monkeys off of his successor. The young monkeys chirp and ran back to their family all but the one with a black spot on their right eye stayed on MKs head "that goes for you too little one" Monkey King said smiling

The little monkey just looked at Monkey King and went back to playing with the teens hair "I know you heard me, off" Monkey King said crossing his arms, the little monkey just turned around and continued playing with MKs hair "Little one" Monkey King said in a stern voice but the little monkey didn't budge. MK got an idea and digs into his pocket, he pulls out a small packages with three Almond cookies. He opens the package and pulls out a Almond cookie showing it to the little monkey on his head "hey, you want one, they're good?" The teen said waving the cookie, the little monkey let go of MKs hair and took the cookie happily munching on it, the teen then gently grabbed the monkey and pulled him off his head

"Impressive, it's usually a lot harder when it comes to bribing him" Monkey King said smiling "thanks, what's his name?" MK said scratching the little monkeys chin "he doesn't have one" Monkey King said taking the young monkey from the teen "he doesn't, why?" MK said shocked at what he heard "Mm, his mother passed away after he was born, the other monkeys took care of him but he never responds to the names they give him, we thought he was deaf but he wasn't he just doesn't like the names we give him and ignores it, our guess is that he's just waiting for a name that suits him" Monkey King said placing the little monkey down on the ground. Then the teens phone went off and MK saw his shift at work started "ah, I gotta get to work!" MK said putting his phone away and grabbing his backpack "bye Monkey King!" MK said heading out the cave "later bud!" Monkey King said waving bye "come on little one, time for lunch" Monkey King said looking down where he sat the little monkey, only to find the spot empty "little one?" The copper simian said looking around for the young monkey

As MKs feet touched the ground next to the noodle shop he placed the staff in his ear and went inside the shop "hey Dadsy, hey Baba, I'm here!" MK said entering the shop "your on time kid...for once" Pigsy said not looking up from his cooking "Pigsy!" Tang scolded his husband "ignore him, he's just mad over some customers that claimed he got their orders wrong" Tang said smiling at his son "it's alright" MK said placing his backpack down on the counter and hung his jacket up replacing it with his work uniform, but then a chirping noise came out of it scaring everyone in the shop "what was that?!" Mei said looking at the backpack, MK slowly open his backpack and the little monkeys head pops out with a happy chirp

"Little one?!" MK said surprised to see the little monkey in his backpack "what are you doing here?!" MK asked, the little monkey pulled out an Almond cookie and handed it to MK "you wanted more cookies" MK said taking the offering as the little monkey hops out of the backpack. Mei let out a squeal "Who is this cutie!!" Mei said taking pictures of the young mountain monkey "little one" MK said eating the cookie "little one, that's an interesting name" Tang said looking at the young monkey who was eating another almond cookie "it's his temporary name, he doesn't have a permanent name since he refuses all the other names Monkey King gave him, says that little one is just waiting for the right name for him" MK said gently petting the little monkey
