"Just breath and relax your senses, let your mind go of any negative thoughts" Macaque said as he and MK meditate by the river since the teen doesn't have any training with Monkey King and his shift doesn't start yet so he has free time to train with his ma "concentrate on the calming sounds around you, let your mind find inner peace" Macaque said as his six ears twitched at the sound of the flowing water and his son breathing calmly. MK suddenly felt something on his lap and moving up his arm, he peaks open an eye and saw a spider on his arm, Macaque was jolted out of his meditation by his sons screaming, he turns around to see MK running around waving his arm in the air "GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF, GET IT OFF!!!!!!" MK screamed waving his arm around in the air

Macaque quickly caught the teen with his tail, saw the spider on MKs arm, and flecked it off the teen "there now, it's off" Macaque said, MK let out a sigh of relief "thank you....sorry about freaking out and...ruining our lesson" MK said looking down in shame "it's alright, but I wonder why you reacted like that over a little spider?" Macaque asked looking at his son, MK looked at his ma and back to the ground "it's just.....when I was in the third grade a boy, Coda and his friends locked me in an old shed by the side of the school and...the shed was filled with spiders" MK said clutching his arms tightly "I couldn't see anything but I felt the spiders crawling all over me, biting me......I...I couldn't get out...I screamed for anyone to let me out, I begged, I cried, I pleaded for anyone to hear me" MK said tears filling his eyes Macaque stared in shock at his son who wiped the unshead tears from his eyes

"B-but...eventually a teacher heard me and let me out, and I had to go to the hospital for antivenom....I was terrified and.....could have died...and that's why I'm terrified of spiders....it's a stupid fear I know" MK said looking at the ground, he was then pulled into a gentle hug by Macaque "it's not a stupid fear, what happened to you, no child should experience that kind of trauma" Macaque said looking at MK "yeah but....Monkey King isn't afraid of anything...and how am I suppose to be great if I'm afraid of spiders" MK said looking up at Macaque "everyone can still be great even if their scared" Macaque said and placed a kiss on MKs head. Then MKs Phone rings, the teen pulls his phone out to see the notification "Oh, I gotta get to work, bye ma!" MK said hugging Macaque and runs into a shadow portal he summoned "bye MK, have fun at work!" Macaque called out to his son as he disappears into the portal

As MK walked out of the shadow portal near Pigsy's Noodles Shop and ran towards the shop, only to come to a screeching halt when he saw the closed sign "that's strange...Dadsy's never closed" MK said staring at the sign, the teen let out a loud gasps "WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED TO THEM!!?!" MK said starting to panic, but he quickly calms down "no, no, no..maybe they're running a little late, yeah that's probably it, Dadsy is probably got stuck in traffic somewhere swearing up a storm while Baba's trying to calm him down...yeah that's could be why they're so late" MK said trying to think of something else so he won't go into a panic "I'll just wait right here until they come back" MK said sitting on the sidewalk and began to wait

He checked his phone clock and continued waiting, he then looked across the street for a familiar truck but didn't saw one, the then sent a few texts to his Baba and Dadsy and waited for a reply, nothing, it wasn't even a minute before he quickly stands up "alright I'm looking for them" MK said and began looking around for his dads

After searching part of the city unsuccessfully he heads towards the base where Sandy and Mei were playing video games "Guys, Dadsy and Baba are missing!" MK shouted bolting out of the elevator "Pfft, missing? What do you mean they're missing?" Mei said, looking over at the teen "I mean....Dadsy didn't open the shop this morning! And Baba didn't show up!" MK said. Mei and Sandy gasp in shock at what they heard "But the shop's never been closed before!" Sandy exclaimed in horror "They've been kidnapped!" MK shouted back "I immediately fear the worst!" Sandy said dramatically "what do we do, I've searched everywhere, I texted them, and they're not answering?!?!" MK said panicking
