"Okay, I'm heading out for training!" MK said putting on his jacket "stay safe, and don't get hurt" Tang said eating another bowl of noodles "I will Baba" MK said kissing his Baba's cheek "don't forget the lunch I packed for you!" Pigsy called out from the kitchen "yeah, I got it bye" MK said placing the lunch in his backpack and left the shop heading to Flower Fruit Mountain, as the teen headed to the docks he looks up to see an eclipse was going to happen "wow" MK said and continued on his way not knowing that a shadow was staring at him with Red glowing eyes "There you are" the shadow said smirking, the shadow looks up at the sky watching as the sun and moon grew closer and closer together "almost there" the shadow said and the solar eclipse was formed "Yes" the shadow said and pushed forward, at first it struggled but after the second and third push the shadow soon took form of a man standing in the alley "free at last, free at last" the man said chuckling his dark furry tail swishing behind him "now...let's get this show started" he said his amber eyes glowing red with a evil grin as dark red magic swirling around him

MK grunted as he slams the hammer down onto the mural wall "you know, when I found out I was going to be trained by The Monkey King, Great Sage Equal to Heaven" MK said lifting the hammer up and slamming it down onto the mural wall "I had no idea..." MK gasped out, clearly exhausted as sweat drips down his face "THAT I'D BE STUCK HERE HAMMERING WALLS 12 HOURS A DAY!!" MK said chucking the hammer away in frustration "Why am I doing this again?!" The teen said turning to Monkey King who was relaxing on his cloud legs crossed and arms behind his head "Ahhh, so I can make a nice lil' breakfast nook, get some light up in here" Monkey King said smiling "but I'm meant to be the Monkie Kid, not Construction Boy! How am I supposed to do the hero stuff, if I don't know the fighting stuff?!" MK said glaring at his mentor who was twirling the staff in one hand "Ooohooh, So...You want to know the 'fighting stuff,' huh?" Monkey King said smirking hopping off his cloud "like this" the simian King asked and slams the staff on the ground, before opening his eyes to reveal that they were glowing gold, twirling his staff and chuckling it at the wall nearly hitting the teen who quickly dodges the staff, looking up to see a massive hole in the wall

"Woah!" MK gasped, before sliding down on his knees in front of Monkey King "Yes! Exactly like that! I am ready for some awesome!" MK said smirking and with a look of determination. Monkey King laughed making the teen blink "Look, bud, You can't rush this stuff Um...You'll get there. You just need practice" Monkey King said twirling the staff "but this isn't practice!" MK said picking up the hammer "Ugh! I'm never going to teach you something you don't need to know okay" Monkey King said crossing his arms, MK looked down at the ground in sadness puffing his cheeks out that the simian King didn't take notice of "Okay! Now this priceless mural is not gonna destroy itself so, remember. Step into the strike!" Monkey King said, just then MK's phone went off, and the male took it out to reveal that Mei was calling him "Yeah?" MK asked answering the phone "MK, we really need your help!" Mei said behind her was a giant red and black monster "a monster attacking the city? That's terrible!" MK said turning to Monkey King "dang, guess I gotta go do some boring hero stuff instead of...this, okay bye!" MK said and took off as the simian king let out a sigh

The teen soon landed next to a worried Mei, who stared up at the monster "What did I miss?" MK asked excitedly "MK! what took you so long?!" Mei said panicking "sorry! sorry! monkey king was making me do boring stuff" MK said with a shrug "that the bad guy?" MK said staring up at the monster. The monster looked human but had long black glowing hair, red glowing eyes, long red scarf, sharp claws, wearing a torn red open vest showing glowing red scars on its chest, a red sash around its waist, and black torned shorts, who stared down at them with glowing red eyes, menacingly "okay, be right back" MK twirling his staff "MK, wait! no-" Mei tried to say but MK already launched himself towards the creature "Here comes monkie ki-" but before he could hit it, the creature used its scarf like tentacle to wrap around his ankle, flinging him back "ow" MK groans, having created a crater when he fell "oh yeah, we tried that" Mei said pointing to another crater with Pigsy in it, beside the pig demon, Sandy whimpers with an arm over his eyes, dropping a white handkerchief over Pigsy. Suddenly, a shadow zooms over them, catching their attention "uh...is that?" Mei said squinting her eyes at the mysterious figure "Monkey King?" MK said noticing that the figure had a Monkey tail
