Back in the city, crowds of people cheered happily at the lunar New Year's festival, Mei was in the food truck trying to make dumplings but the filling spilled out making the dragon girl groan "Why isn't this working?" Mei said looking at the mess "you're over stuffing them Mei, and you have to be gentle when pinching the tips together" Tang instructed the teen girl "Thank you, great happiness and prosperity this lunar New Year!" Pigsy said handing a customer their order "uuhh Mei, is it just me or does Pigsy seem.....more stressed than normal" Tang said turning to look at his husband smile was strained, his body covered in layers of sweat, and a vein bulging from his forehead while visibly shaking "isn't MK supposed to be working today?" Tang asked making the pig demon turn to him "YES TANG HE IS, WHERE IS THAT PUNK CAUSE HE SURE AIN'T HERE!!!!!!" Pigsy yelled at the scholar "he's training with the Monkey King" Mei answered with a smile

"He said: new year, new MK! I'm gonna take my training to a whole new level, and afterwards I can spend New Year's with Ma" Mei said Mimicking what her friend said, grabbing a mop and posing with it, standing on the counter. Tang sweatdrops, turning to look at Pigsy, who was glaring at Mei "Gimme that!" He shouts, taking the mop from Mei and snapping it in half "new year new MK, keep acting like this and he's gonna be newly unemployed!" Pigsy said angrily "Pigsy you don't mean that, if anything MK can take all the time he wants, after all this is his first Lunar New Year's where he gets to spend time with his ma after being separated for ten years" Tang scolds but the pig demon wasn't listening "if MK don't get here soon-" he stops when a shadow over cast him, he looks up, eyes widening and shrieking at the towering mountain of various sweets and toys, piled on top of him "good cheer and happy new years!" Sandy said with a big smile

"Look at all these delicious little goodies, I've got enough to share" Sandy said turning to the scholar and dragon girl "Oh, Thanks sandy" Mei said smiling at the water spirit "so uhh, where's MK?" Sandy asked scratching his head Pigsy growls, popping his head out of the pile "would you guys please screw around somewhere else! I've got a business to run! So if ya ain't gonna help, go bother someone else's business!" Pigsy growls

Down in the sewers Spider Queen, healed from the beating stood in her lab next to a scientist named Syntax, the cheering from above began to irritate her as she groaned "yeah, keep laughing, just wait till you see what I've got cooking, then you'll have something to celebrate" she said clenching her hand into a fist "only one left, this little piece of that monkie kid holds all the power I need" she said with a chuckle, looking down at her palm that hold a strand of MKs hair she managed to get. She then turns to the scientist "are you finished tinkering yet?" She said looking at the scientist "I have constructed what you asked for, the delivery systems are operational, so long as that venom works this time" Syntax said looking at the screen, Spider Queen stalks up behind him with her arms behind her back, eyes glowing a bright neon green "the venom will work" she said. The scientist stared up at her in fear, body shaking as the spider queen sneered, turning away from him

She slowly approached the pot, lifting her arm and dropping the hair inside, gold light shimmers from the pot, coursing through various tubes as an egg sack cracks open, a spider-like robot fell to the ground, looking around, before sparking and exploding "no, no, no!" She said turning to the scientist, hissing as she approaches him "I am the queen, I am meant to rule this world, not hide beneath it!" She shouts lifting her leg and came towards the scientist, who flinched closing his eyes, but nothing happened. He slowly opened his eyes, staring up at the queen in fear "it...can't be over" she said her voice riddled in saddness "it doesn't have to be" a voice said from behind the spider demoness "w-who said that, show yourself!" Spider Queen said looking around, a little girl appears from the shadows with a smile

"My apologies, I just...thought I might be of service" the little girl said smiling "service huh?" Spider Queen said with a scoff "who are you?" Spider Queen said to the mysterious little girl "I'm merely someone who thinks the great Spider Queen has been absent from her throne for too long, I believe that as you rise, a thing even the celestial host could not achieve will be inevitable, the final destruction of the Monkey King" The girl said. Spider Queen grits her teeth at the mention of the copper simians name, she lifts her leg and drives it at the girl, who didn't even flinch or cower in fear "well don't you have a sweet way of talking, Monkey King tore me from my throne, took EVERYTHING I had, what makes you think it's so easy?" Spider Queen said, the little girl looked up at Spider Queen unfazed "I thought maybe we could use....this" she said revealing a vile with a skull on the top "my, my, my...I haven't seen one of these for a while" Spider Queen said looking at the bottle. The girl spared a glance at the pot, bubbling with chemicals "may I?" the girl asked, the spider demoness follows the girl's gaze, stretching out her arm as an offer for the girl to do her work

The girl approached the pot, uncapping the bottle, and allowing a strange blue mist to sink and mix with the green bubbling substance, it swirls around dangerously, turning into a neon blue. From above, another spider-like robot breaks free of its egg sack landing on spider queen's leg much like the first one, it's body sparks with electricity, but it doesn't explode "well, well, well, looks like you have your uses after all, let's give it a spin!" Spider Queen said turning towards Syntax, who's eyes widened "wait! no!I helped you!" he begged as the Spider Queen laughed, watching he spider mech followed the queen's gaze, red lens narrowing at its target, slowly approaching Syntax "you need me!" Syntax cried

He screamed as the mech attacked him, knocking him back, and falling behind the machinery, he shrieked, choking in pain as the spider embedded itself into his body, breaking multiple bones. Soon Syntax stood back up his jet black hair was now neon green, his skin purple as four spider legs poked out behind him, he stood before the Spider Queen and kneels "my queen" Syntax said making Spider Queen smile "now that's more like it" she said before turning towards the girl "okay little miss mystery, what's the catch?" Spider Queen asked, the girl just smiled "I simply wish to see you fulfill your destiny, my queen" the girl said kneeling, Spider Queen grins "well, alright then" she said her eyes glowing and with a chuckle, the Spider Queen outstretched her arms, as spider mechs hatched from their egg sacs. Her laughter grew louder, cackling as she was surrounded by an army of spider mechs, as her servants fell next to her

Meanwhile back at the festival, Mei and Tang sat on Sandy's shoulders while Pigsy stood next to the water spirit stirring a bowl of noodles, as the four watched the parade "oh man, MK's really missing out on all these awesome floats!" Mei said smiling and let out a gasp "there's the dragon! Oh and there's the monkey!" Mei said pointing out the floats "yeah and there's the spider!" chimes Sandy earning a confused look from the scholar and dragon girl "spider, there's no spider in the zodiac" Tang said scoffing as he push his glasses up "it's probably just an eight legged rooster or-" but he was caught off as he squints at the spider float with a tarp over it, the tarp is then thrown off, revealing Spider Queen, her henchmen, and the little girl "SPIDER QUEEN!!!" Sandy, Mei, Tang, and Pigsy said in shock "oh, would you look at that, everyone here to celebrate the year of the spider!" she said grinning "go let them know their queen is back" she said, and with that chaos broke spider henchmen and spider mechs, attacking anyone in their way, changing them. Spider Queen grins, raising her arms as wires like web shot out from under the float towards the other parts merging and forging them together creating a giant spider mech with Spider Queen and the girl on top smiling at the spider demoness work
