Two years later, Present day:

That song has always been in his head for as long as he could remember as well as the feeling of the warm arms hugging him, making him feel safe and protected. He would've stayed like that longer until the shrill sound of his alarm clock rudely woke him up, he opens his eyes to see the alarm clock flashing a number he didn't care to read so he slammed the snooze button and turned over in his bed "no" he mumbled out falling back to sleep. Only to be woken up by his phone alarm, he groaned and reached under his bed to turn it off, but when he looked at the time he immediately woke up "11:30?!?!?!" MK shouted shooting up from his bed "I'M LATE!!!" MK said in panic as he jumps out of the bed and scrambled to get ready he quickly washed up, dried, brushed his teeth, puts his clothes on, brush his hair, placed his red bandanna on, grabs his favorite orange jacket along with his work uniform, and ran out his room grabbing his phone 

MK slides down the stair rails and ran to the doorway quickly putting his shoes on and ran out the house closing and locking the door behind him "DADSY IS GONNA KILL ME!!!" MK said and began running to his dads noodle shop which was four blocks away from the house. Finally he makes it to Pigsy's Noodle Shop and quickly went in "I'm here Dadsy, I'm sorry I'm late I know I said that I won't be late again but I--!!" He stopped when he saw that the shop was dark "uh...Dadsy?" MK called out, then the lights came on and Pigsy, Tang, and Mei popped out of nowhere "SURPRISE!!!" they shouted making MK nearly leap out of his skin making him land on his butt on the floor "What the!?!?" MK said clutching his chest where his heart was beating fast 

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MK!!" Mei said with a big smile "w-what..birth-" then MK remembered that today was his birthday, he's now fifteen "don't tell me you forgot your own birthday kid" Pigsy said pulling MK up to his feet "pfft no...maybe...I guess" MK said rubbing the back of his head and everyone laughed while MK blushed in embarrassment while smiling "well just be glad your Baba convinced me to let you sleep in so we could make this" Pigsy said pulling out a red and yellow birthday cake with candles lit and saying 'Happy Birthday MK' on the top "make a wish, make a wish!" Mei said recording the event on her phone "and be quick about it, I got orders to make you got deliveries to do" Pigsy said walking up to MK with a smile, MK thought about his wish, took a deep breath and blew out his candles
