He raises Angie from the ground; one hand cradling her, the other holding to the bat towards the enemy.

"Come on, Steve!"

"Hurry!

"Let's go!"

Steve swings his weapon in warning as he steps onto the bus, "Get back! Get the hell back!"

"Oh my God! That's a lot of blood!"

"Holy shit! I'm gonna puke!"

"Thanks, Max." she whines as Dustin wraps Lucas's bandana above the flesh wound.

"At least her sarcasm is still intact." she suggests as she suppresses a gag.

The old bus shakes as the creatures attempt to get in. Steve places another piece of metal over the closed door before stomping it in place, "Apply pressure! Make sure she doesn't bleed out!"

"I'm working on it!" he readies himself, placing his hands on the wound, "This is gonna hurt. I'm sorry."

Angie let's out a wail as she's hit with another round of sharp pains from Dustin applying pressure.

The bus shakes once more, almost flipping it on it's side. A loud string of high-pitched screams ring out of the children. Suddenly, one of the demodogs breaks through the metal barrier, grabbing for Angie. Steve continuously beats it with the bat as Max reaches for a spare piece of metal to cover it up with.

Dustin lets go of Angie's leg long enough to call for help on the Cerebro, "Is anyone there? Mike? Will? God! Anyone!"

A large paw print-shaped dent comes crashing, inches from his head.

"Shit! Shit! Shit! Angie's hurt really bad, guys! We're at the old junkyard, and we are going to die!"

Everyone stops as loud footsteps bang against the ceiling until they reach the fire hatch. Max screams as she's met face to face with one of the god-awful creatures.

"Get! Out of the way! Out of the way!" Steve yells, shoving the children backwards, "You want some? Come get this!"

The demodog screeches loudly, stepping up to his challenge. Until suddenly, it looks off to the distance. Growling loudly, it jumps away along with all the others.

"What just happened?" Lucas asks as the younger kids examine the dogs fleeing the scene without finishing the fight.

"Maybe Steve scared 'em off?" Dustin suggests as Steve dives down beside Angie.

"No. No way. They're going somewhere."

Handing the bat to Lucas, Steve picks up Angie once again. She cries in pain, her cheeks already stained with tears.

"I know, I know," he swipes her hair, clung to her from sweat, out of her face, "Just hold on a little longer, Ange."

Steve stumbles down the steps after the children with a barely-conscious Angie in his arms.

"Can she walk?" Lucas asks, gazing upon the open wound.

"No, even if the pain was bearable, she's basically unconscious." he mumbles breathlessly.

"She really needs a doctor, guys." Max announces the obvious.

"Yeah, I know." Dustin sighs desperately, "but we can't risk losing track of these demodogs."

"We can't risk her loosing too much blood and dying, Dustin. Its not an option." Steve argues, "Wait, you two come here." he gestures to Max and Lucas, "help me get her down so I can get a better look at this wound. I might be able to make some sort of bandage so it doesn't get infected."
